    Not when you factor in the ENTIRE viewing region. Indeed, when including Toronto and Southern Ontario, it's the 4th largest TV market in North America. The problem is translating Canadian TV viewership into ad dollars large enough to be chased. GO BILLS!!!

    Those big TV "eyeballs" are a double-edged sword in L.A. The Rams and Raiders often placed THIRD in their timeslots on Sunday afternoons. When you draw less viewers than reruns of 'Gilligan's Island', you have a problem with local affiliates in huge TV markets. The NFL can't leverage a large TV market in LA as much as some think. GO BILLS!!!

    I'll guarantee he leaves everything he has on the ice. He does that EVERY shift in EVERY game. As to the other stiffs who've packed it in for the season, God only knows what we'll get out of them at this point. Too bad what ZG has isn't coachable. GO SABRES!!!

    Got that right. Talk about suckling at the proverbial government teat. It's no coincidence that our longest protracted war time engagement was conducted not only without tax INCREASES but with actual tax DECREASES. War time profiteering was never better. Shameful.

    LOL! But I seem to remember a stat earlier in the year when our goalies needed something like a .940 save % just to keep the game even. That's why I thought you were serious. I'd bet you're not far off. GO SABRES!!!

    I agree. I also think PLF's role was an undefined layer between the GM's side, which includes ALL hockey operations, and Pegula. TP, in his quest to get PLF on his staff any way he could was a bit hasty in creating an entirely new position without thinking about the hierarchy repercussions. PLF was walking minefields the whole time. I can see why he snapped. Perfectly understandable. As to Battista, I'm curious as to how people around here would see his "meddling" be manifested. What would have to occur before they were convinced Battista somehow "meddled?" GO SABRES!!!

    God, I hate that under 20 rule! Nice to know Grigorenko is tearing up the SAME league he's been tearing up for a few years now. Hope he can join the Amerks after his season and help in a playoff run THIS year. GO SABRES!!!

    I maintain there were a series of "flashpoints" since Patty came aboard leading to the crescendo we saw last week. Interesting that the majority have no problems thinking the non-hockey people inserted themselves and meddled in the hockey process and yet won't even entertain the thought that Patty may have inserted himself and meddled in non-hockey stuff as well. I think there's a good chance that PLF overstepped his bounds. Which can happen in a newly created role without clearly defined parameters. GO SABRES!!! I don't believe for a second that Terry Pegula didn't want PLF to join the long list of employees that stay with him forever. I think he genuinely regrets losing him. I also think he doesn't take too kindly to being told to phuck off either. It's a balancing act. GO SABRES!!!
