Got some very happy family members down in the ATL tonight. Good for Atlanta. Little. Hockey. Sense.

I thought my enthusiasm for their heart and hustle would get me through for a while longer, but watching this lack of skill night after night is starting to wear on me a bit. It’s just so hard to watch them sometimes.

If the Sabres were the ones who backed out, I imagine it was due to the salary retention issue. We’ve all heard how TPegs is dug in on that issue. Can’t say as I blame him, either.

Because if not, then there is absolutely no reason why KA and Co. can’t wait longer for the injury situation to resolve, Eichel returns to the ice, and potential trade partners are satisfied he is back to being an elite, All Star centerman in the league and are willing to meet the price to acquire such a player. It’s all up to Pegula and given his past reluctance to pay ROR his bonus, I can see where he might be weary of continuing to pay Eichel and has instructed KA to move Eichel for whatever he can get now.

Shameful. He is every bit as complicit in Aldrich’s abuse of that minor in Michigan as Quennevile and the rest of those gutless wonders in the Blackhawk organization.

The Blackhawks and Union need to write even bigger checks to the kid in Michigan who Aldrich never would of had a chance to abuse if anyone in Chicago and the Union had the moral compass and courage to do what was necessary in the first place. They are all complicit in a minor in Michigan being abused by a sexual predator.

Good thing Zegras is a talented offensive player.

Their worst game of the year by far. For many reasons. Lucky to get a point. And yeah, Sabres were up 3 zip.

Decision making leaves a lot to be desired this evening. Not playing with poise. Take the extra tic, assess the situation, and make a smarter play. And Skinner has absolutely ZERO hockey sense. As in none. Can't wait until Cozens gets some real help on his wings.

I appreciate the clarification. I haven’t read all the posts, so if I missed an earlier explanation, that’s on me. Are you questioning TSN’s journalistic acumen with the story? Is that the gist of what I missed?

Whether Beach ever played a second in the NHL with the Blackhawks or not, EVERYONE who mattered in that ENTIRE organization new what happened. I’m not sure why playing with the big club or not has any relevance at all.

I’m liking Hagg a ton so please don’t take my praise of Risto as a knock on him. He’s a better hockey player and that’s what matters most.

I’m gonna miss that toughness in Risto. Some of my favorite games to attend were vs. the Caps just to watch him and Ovechkin go at at it while heading up ice, out of camera view. Also one of the reasons I respect Ovie so much as well.
