I have trouble reading past the "A lot of the chatter" line. What the hell does that even mean? He's talked about by whom? Is his apparent growing influence seen as negative or positive?

I love how Schopp and BD rip a guy for saying "Hockey Gods" (just like here when people were ripping that and "Karma") and then they went on for twenty minutes on things that could put the Sabres in a negative light.
Just because one side is using religious terms and the other side is speaking scientifically, doesn't mean they aren't talking about the same thing. If you keep peeing on your shoes, eventually no one will want to dance with you.

Again, I don't mind peoples knives out for my posts. Like I said, i am learning stuff also and as Sabres fans, I love all you guys and enjoy conversing with Sabres/Bills fans when I am in Western New York or at games at First Niagara Centre. I am not saying T-Pegs isn't generous, without a question he certainly is and has been a Godsend for the Sabres and Bills. I just want to see us all rewarded at the Pro level for all his efforts and I may be impatient for sure. I am also critical and if we can't be critical, how do we expect to improve? Again, if Tim Murray can mold this club into a serious contender, I will worship at the altar of Tim Murray. I am glad T-Pegs is here and never said otherwise. it is just my impatience speaking.
16 years of LR/DR and two plus years of tanking,... you must never use the term impatient ever again.

We have no idea if it was about control and I would be shocked if it was. I just can't see Murray going back to the Pegulas and saying, "He wanted to have more say in the roster but I just can't allow that, so I had to let him go." C'mon.

I hope not. If we're on Toronto's level and not smashing them each game I'll be very disappointed.
I'm planning on being disappointed. If people were setting numbers on how many more wins Babs would have been worth next year for the Sabres, Why wouldn't those numbers be the same for the Leafs? And it's not like they have no talent up there. They just stopped playing.

I think it does help. I know a transplant recipient that used their limelight to push the cause for others, and it really helped those that needed hope to keep chugging, and got a lot of people to at least sign up for the general donor list. It may be the toughest feeling in the world to see that happen to someone.....knowing they could be 100% if they just got a spare part, but might not make it to the next day without it. The process was on the up and up too. I was shocked how tight the process was. The person was high on the list anyway given their dynamics, but almost didn't make it.
I'd pay to see that!
