FTR, I’m not angry about the game. Not even a little. This was a great season. We lost this game because our defense didn’t make a single play. That has nothing to do with what I think would make our team even better next year.

It was small, and probably shouldn't irk me as much as it did, but it didn't scream "I will do everything I can to score." Again, Hall should have shot, but hockey is about being prepared for what happens after the play you want to have happen doesn't.

He absolutely should have shot (as Jack should have about a dozen times so far.) That does not excuse Sam peeling off.

I really don't need to hear ever again that the system or the coaches are "killing Dahlin." In my opinion it's nonsense. If he wants to be an actual NHL defensemen, guess what, he's going to have to learn how to play in an actual system. He is a 20 year old gifted defensemen who is struggling. You know what a sixteen year old defensemen should also know what not to do, leave a guy alone on the backdoor twice. That's not system. That's hockey. I think I'm leaning more toward TW here. The guys who know how to score are going to remember how to score again and we'll be okay.
