My conspiracy theory is that J-bots had heard rumors about the players on this team being super problematic and he took the job hoping that it wasn't true. But it is true, at least partially. And all the GM's he might want to trade with believe the rumors which is destroying his ability to make meaningful moves like he would have in Pitt. I don't think he realized how handcuffed he would be.

Yup. A fancy play in the defensive zone with the net empty and the game on the line. Players being irresponsible with the puck has been a killer this year. It's always someone else's problem apparently.

Erod is an undrafted college FA. He's played well given that. He's going to make mistakes. Find someone else to worry about.

Lehner is bad

His rumors don't always play out, but a lot of the most legit sources have the same thing happen. He has scooped trades and most certainly has some connections. Good enough for me with respect to the "sources say" crowd.
