It's crazy to me that Berglund didn't want that money. But I'm also somewhat impressed that he would put the money second to other priorities. I think a lot of players would just stick it out because hey, they're getting paid right?

So this makes the trade ultimately look both bad and good at the same time. Let's just take it for what it is: shedding cap.

Skates are definitely too stiff. I had to stop wearing wax laces because of it. My most recent pair are Ribcors which were designed to be more forgiving than things like Tacks and Supremes, but I still find them quite stiff.

I was feeling this too, but I would never tell people not to boo Yandle. Booing is good. But that first goal where Barkov deflected the Yandle shot amid a chorus of boos was such a "beat em on their ice" moment. Could the Sabres have come back from that? Sure. But then Dahlin got schooled by Dadonov and the subsequent bad luck on the penalty shot took the wheels right off. They regained their composure after the Vatrano goal but it was too late at that point. Just one of those games. I'm over it and I'm sure they are too, but it does suck losing like that.

It's been like this against Florida for like... 10 years. I don't know why I still watch these games. They always suck lol
