I'll second that, there really seems to be something not ticking over right with Tim.

Around the NHL AHL ECHL(?): Tim Connelly going full-recluse. http://www.syracuse.com/crunch/index.ssf/2013/12/tim_connolly.html If someone already posted, my apologies.

I'm quite upset there isn't a fine wine appreciation thread. -Chet

$200 on Ottawa. Gotta stay consistent. Edit: I'm at $260

I found this. I'm not sure that aging for month would do anything other than have something interesting to write on the label, though. http://www.foodrepublic.com/2011/12/01/barrel-bourbon-finds-its-sea-legs

Not that I'm subscribing to this tinfoil-hattism, but Pittsburgh was, I believe, nearly bankrupt and it was assumed it was going to move around this time, wasn't it?

Not as weird as you'd think. I don't know his play, but if he's not good enough to break into the top-6 on a team, and he's not physical or defensive enough to be in the bottom-6, there's no place for him on most teams. And that doesn't even touch on the possibility there's an "issue". Tropp and D'Agostino would seem to fit the latter condition for bottom-6.

I'm at 400, 140 on Ottawa. Gotta get back in some time.

Leftover home-made pierogi and fried sauerkraut.

The game was in Boston right? Good luck on that one. People are all up-in-arms about the knockout game, though, maybe they'll make Thornton an example for playing it. (ha, ha)

No, that's a great example of non-intent. The driver in your example (presumably) didn't *intend* to crash his car into other people. He's guilty of gross negligence though.

Was it the Islanders that last year were picking up everyone on waivers?

I don't know that I've ever had a beer that was too hoppy for my tastes, but I've had quite a few that were mediocre beer with a lot of hop added. A good, really hoppy beer is fantastic. :)

That looks like a Cannon design, all glass (I used to work there). It really doesn't fit into the rest of Buffalo's skyline though, I'd love to see something that complements the other deco buildings.

:) I forget if I posted this before, forgive me: http://www.woebermustard.com/products.shtml Blasphemy!

Good to have my math checked. :P

Sammich. Whole wheat bread (not that great though, just mushy), Muenster, arugula, Weber's mustard, and Lebanon Bologna.

I prefer Franks, but both have their place. Sriracha tends to overpower stuff, and being thicker it's a lot harder to distribute evenly. But, my wife stocked up when she heard anyway, she likes it more than me.

I'm pretty rusty on my probability, but picking 1st both times (via the lottery and being in last) would be 25% * 25%, or 6.3%. Picking #1 zero times (again from last place) is 75% * 75%, or 56% (ouch). The remainder is 37.5%, which is picking #1 once in two years. (25% * 75% + 75% * 25%).

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure what we really need (a top-3 forward) could be had for one of our D-prospects. I'd be thinking of trading pick #2 for someone's 3-6 pick *and* a solid forward prospect (I'm looking at you, Edmonton!). That being said, I'm not sure top-3 prospect+pick 3-6 == #2 (Ekbald) alone.

Dude, you're so in if you're Sriracha-worthy.

I'm grabbing a case of Victory Beer and heading over. Good enough?

Been washing your Superbowl spirit on the gentle cycle for the last twenty years? Or even hand washing? No more, my friends! New stock! http://www.zubaz.com/Bills-Zubaz-_-1769923250_PG.html

I have, but it's not something I care to remember. :(

You'd think they'd just close off the upper seats and let everyone have free reign on the lower bowl. At least it would look full on camera. So I popped the game on, there looks to be at least an entire empty row in each section you can see from the center ice camera, maybe 50% full in those sections. There's a block directly behind the benches of 4 rows a section+ wide with *no one* in them. Granted, this is early in the second, but I have a hard time believing folks are waiting in line on the concourse.
