He will add scoring..If he wants to come here sign him....I didnt want him over Drury yrs ago but he is much better than what we have at center now....No brainer...The only deterrent is we might win enuff games with him in the lineup to draft 8th again...

Ive done this 4 times now...So after all these deleted posts that had much well thought out points I can shorten it up and just say it..DARCY REGIER IS A @#^HOLE. He takes all the fun out of Being a Sabres fan...

Jochen Hecht is a waste of an NHL roster spot...If he was let go today theyre wouldnt be one team calling him to play. He plays with Minus zero intensity Minus zero Passion and minus zero leadership..His play defines everything that is wrong with this team PERIOD.......And the kicker is that the captain lobbied for him to be brought back....Two hearts from the same mold IMO....

My hatred for him as a hockey player is very strong...I dont care how many faceoffs he won when it comes down to having to make a pass or a shot on net or pretty much anything associated with a hockey play at a key moment of need in a game you can count on him failing.....He is a waste on this team....

He should stay IMO. He is already one of better faceoff men and he seems to be in the right spots in the offensive zone to score. He is only going to get better, and this team needs him. If they send him down I would have to conclude that Regier is saving him for a full year and doesnt think his team is going anywhere this year. Which I think anyways..There are arguments good for both sides but as a fan I want to watch him now and give me something exciting to watch the game for... I think and please dont snap on me if ive misinterpeted the context is...He means that for the past 3 yrs this team or socalled "core" players have played with absolutely zero "passion" or "motivation". Its been so long since they played maybe we have forgotten the zero effort we watched for the majority of the season and the question that is now being asked by this move is why bring back a major flaw in that effort? I tried..lol

Its been THE MISSING PIECE TO THE PUZZLE since 07...They really should have this cleared up by now I think....There are no phrases I know to describe the ignorance of this move if they are counting on him to be a center, or even depth for it at this point...
