Gashed is a little strong ... 11 carries for 60 yds.

Surprised this wasn't posted. Knox tested positive for COVID-19. Smith (and two other PS/PUP TEs) quarantining. I haven't followed the NFL's rules too closely, but how are the Bills able to play today?

This seems like a COVID-friendly contract, much like Hall's. Finances suck right now. Nobody knows when that will change. Postpone longterm contract talks for a year, hoping there will be better information. As for listing Sam as a center, that's a smart move for trade value down the road. "Despite playing on the wing in Buffalo, he's a natural center. We'll move him over to fill our desperate need for centers." 😁

	FuboTV.

I want to say Peca, but the ending taints it (not saying it was all on him, by any means.) Had they gotten a deal done in 2000, he could have been an easy choice.

You know, I've never really thought about that, but you're (in my experience) correct. In Rochester, we say "I'm on 390" or "there's an accident on 490." When I get over to the Buffalo area, it's "there's an accident on the 190." Weird (both that it's true and that I never noticed that before.)

The flaw is that the boundaries for determining quarantining are not (necessarily) based on practical reasons, but rather on the regions over which the decision makers exert control. We (Western NY) have little in common with and are far more removed from NYC than the portions of the tri-state area that fall outside of the state.

What was with Diggs walking back to the line in the two minute drill? He's been a great receiver, so I'll cut him some slack, but that was bush league.

Taylor Hall signing: 8 million one yr with Sabres
carpandean replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Does that make you the Sabres' favorite fighting Frenchman? (and well done.) -
And only one of those has ever won the Super Bowl.
 -
Makes you wonder if anyone is thinking about COVID.

The D hasn't been as good this year, but when any D drop its top two corners and one of its best linebackers, they're going to be in trouble. Add to that, two drives starting deep in Bills' territory, the score isn't that surprising.

Good memory. You are correct (note: video is actually linked in the text above the pic in my post.) -

Yeah, but surprisingly, this is hardly noticeable now: -

That's one option, but no Sabres player has ever worn #91 (surprised me), so that's a possibility, too. -
And there it is ... Titans shut down facility after another positive COVID-19 test

Not an impressive start. I won't say it's bad yet, but if it's going to look "good" at some point, then most of the best parts would be yet to come.

	Yes?

Seems spot on. Tuesday, if no new positives, with Chiefs on the weekend; else, cancelled/postponed (unknown as of now) with Chiefs back on Thursday.

Wow, dos Dos Equis memes. Is that considered a double-dos(e) of @Weave approval?
 -
Johnson? Hughes? Roslovic? Campbell? Rathbone? You'll have to be more specific ... 😜

I've always said that it should be treated like icing -- faceoff in your own zone without the possibility of substitution -- not a penalty. Maybe have a flagrant version that is a delay of game penalty (ref's discretion) for those cases when a team is hemmed in badly and the player just flips it straight up over the boards to get a stoppage. I assume that used to happen, thus the rule, so having it on the books should still prevent it. For accidental ones, though, it shouldn't be a penalty.

I remember having a high school baseball practice indoors due to inclement weather and warming up by tossing the ball back-and-forth across a basketball court. My pair was on the end, so we were throwing right under the backboard/hoop. I started thinking about not hitting it, which drew my attention to it. So, natural, I sailed one right into it. My coach yelled something along the lines of "how the f__k did you hit that way up there?!" I replied "because I was thinking about not hitting it." I felt like Bass was doing the same thing with that right post. Every single kick looked like it was going to hit it. I'm glad that he didn't lose the game, as that would have been tough to get over. Instead, he hit a couple later and they won, so he can (hopefully) put it behind him as just early jitters. His next game will mean a lot. If he misses, that might never get out of his head. If he hits the ones that he should, then he should be good.
