  1. I walked away from the Colts-Raiders game for a couple of minutes after the Raiders scored to move within 7. Came back and the Colts had scored a touchdown, recovered a fumble on the first play after the kickoff, scored a field goal and then had a pick six on the next drive. Just like that, 17 points! 3 for 3 so far (Patriots loss, Miami loss, Raiders loss) 2 left to clinch playoff spot: Bills win, Ravens loss

  3. Odd stat of the day ... NE is leading the Chargers 35-0 ... Cam Newton has just 69 yards passing. 🤪
  4. I don't know if the Chargers would have won with better coaching at the end, but they absolutely should have gotten to the onside kick with some time remaining. They should have not wasted timeouts earlier, "clocked the ball" or at least played "hurry up" when the clock was running and taken several pass attempts at the end zone before kicking the field goal (if the pass attempts failed.) There's no reason that shouldn't have been a one score game.
  5. I'll be the first to say that players don't try to lose on purpose to improve their draft position, but it sure looked like somebody in the Chargers organization was trying. That, or they're just really incompetent. Yeah, it could be that.
  6. Linky
  7. Actually, I'm a 'he'. 😉
  8. Denver tried to blow it, but held on thanks to some Fitz-magic.

  10. Over $700k earns Grandma Allen a wing dedicated in her name.
  11. Close enough
  12. The exposure on this one, due to the sun, makes it look like baby blue ... but the real blue is a deep royal ...
  13. Here's a question: why take a knee on the extra point? What if they committed a penalty on the kickoff after the Bills managed to advance it some. Game can't end on a defensive penalty, so the Bills would be kicking for the win. I just didn't see the cost of kicking it. Am I missing something?
  14. They gave Allen several chances at the end there. One was killed by penalties; another by a pick. They were bad for parts and good for parts, as was Allen.
  15. Be prepared to see that play over and over again. Play of the week candidate, play of the year candidate, best play by each team videos, etc, etc ...
  16. I think Tre might have made the play, but Poyer knocked him out if it. His hands were there before that.
  17. Norman - positive; others - close contact
  18. Over $400k now. I think it's awesome they're getting that much money. I think it's great that fans support Josh Allen. It seems like a strange commentary on our society that it took a sport figure's grandmother passing away for them to get it.
  19. Trust the Gorton's Fisherman ...
  20. Yeah, but in that hypothetical world, I would bet it. 3rd and 3 on the Bills' 12 with 33 seconds, having walked over the Bills' defense for three straight drives (184 yards, 2 touchdowns and in the red zone on the third) ... Zimmer made a great play, which likely saved the game. For the team that we want the Bills to be, that was a bad game and a lucky outcome. It was basically a coin flip game, which isn't good enough. Glad they won, but they've got work to do.
  21. After Davis dropped a pass in the end zone that hit him right in the hands when he had nobody right on him, which is why it was only 3. If Newton holds on to that ball, the Patriots are winning it in regulation, 28-24, no doubt.
  22. Wow, the Patriots just 'cause Buffalo'd the Bills a win.
  23. No Brady, no Gronk, no Edelman, no Gilmore ... no excuses!
  24. Sam is better in almost every aspect of the game, but Jeff is (usually) better in one very valuable and hard to find area. Sam is a very good generalist, while Jeff is a very good specialist. That gives Sam a lot more ways to shine, keeping him from having a bad season, while Jeff pretty much scores goals or sucks (perception-wise.)
