  1. Past hour
  2. Then alternately, let Lindy bring in his own assistants. "Adam McKevyn"
  3. After all he's done for the organization? This is how we treat him? Snide remarks and cheering his departure? Come on now, you all are better than that. This man gave his heart and his soul to this organization and deserved better from management and us as fans. Y'all just wait. Within 1 month of Jarmo's tenure, you'll be begging for the return of the mac daddy edit: I mean come on, he deserved at least another 2 years
  4. Adams exits with a 178-196-42 record as GM. That leaves him with a 0.428win% 🤢🤮
  5. I didn’t mean to imply that it doesn’t do anything for me because Pegula getting rid of Adams is a sign that he’s actually willing to trust somebody other a person who’s been in his employ since he bought the team. My hope is that Pegs can get over his Ruff worship to let Lindy be a direct report to JK moving forward because as much as I like and respect Lindy, I believe a change needs to be made there and if JK feels the same way he should have free rein to replace Ruff without Pegula’s ok.
  6. The only thing they owe Linday, imo, is to give him the option to announce his own resignation rather than firing him/relieving him of duties. They don't have to, but if he's gonna go, I'd like to see them give him the option.
  7. They could have saved themselves a lot of time by just reading one of his columns. That’s all the reason anyone ever needed to give him the axe.
  8. So glad WGR can't pivot at all. Instead just more Bills talk like the morning, afternoon, now.
  9. Jarmo has free rein to make decisions on Sabres staff and will be making changes, and will announce them himself. You've been waiting years for this moment, haven't you?
  10. My assumption? Scouts/AGM's/Development/Coaching - There's bloat and too many Sabres lifers, and people KA hired from his past.
  11. Hopefully the Clarkson RPI animosity holds. If so, bye bye Appert.
  12. ...and still no Cup in Buffalo, eh? I suspected as much.
  13. He's still getting paid for the season. Not like his family won't get Christmas presents because of it.
  14. While that may literally be true, let's hope it's not figuratively true.
  15. I'd keep Malenstyn. He's got the work ethic we've been clamoring for. No problem with him on the 4th line. Quinn.... The jury's still out in my mind. If we change coaches I'd like to see what a different coach can get out of him. Östlund, Rosen, and Kulich: I disagree. They are the future.
  16. I'd like to see him fire all the coaches, scouts, etc... and get a completely fresh perspective.
  17. They'll introduce a POHO and it'll be Kevyn in Groucho glasses...
  18. I wouldn't pull the plug now on Lindy unless they have someone free that they want.
  19. The biggest positive is that Adams was canned and removed from the organization instead of promoted. Jarmo is an experienced NHL GM who is from outside the Sabres bubble. I’m sure he has some suggestions from his time advising and we will probably see some moves in the coming weeks. He was the man who identified Zito and hired him for his first front office position. I would like to see him hire someone from outside the Sabres bubble who is an up and comer for the front office.
  20. Next level of what? 5th Circle of Hell to the 4th Circle of Hell? How about making this organization a consistent winner again? How about giving Jarmo the necessary freedom to do what's he deems necessary to make this a playoff team?
  21. I sure hope the new broom will sweep clean. We'll find out soon enough.
