  2. I have no doubt they called... here is the thing... how does Adams trade this guy... Well... he seems to be in a precarious position in his job... I cannot see him trading him and making the team worse... so he would need to get a package going to get the best player in the trade... this is not likely to happen because of the NMC that seem to bar any NHLer that has one from coming here.... So any trade would be for multiples of less player, prospects and picks.... probably not gonna catapult us into the playoffs.... Pegula... the other way they make the trade is if Pegula is pushing for it for whatever reason ... i.e reducing payroll... in that instance again I do not see this as a benefit move for the Sabres.... Lastly, because Tage wants to force his way out and they have to go get something for him... well... that certainly doesnt bode well for the Sabres either.... Bottom line, I do not see KA trading this player on his own as I think it would be very difficult to make the team better by doing so and his job should likely be on the line... UNLESS he has assurances from TP that he will be brought back next year and into the future... then Adams gonna Adams... and that is also bad for the Sabres...
  3. When we start getting bodies back we can turn this around. We're only 6 points out of the wildcard with a game at hand. Win that game at hand, we're four points out after playing 19 games. It's a long season.
  4. He will get a lot if he goes to free agency and if you were him wouldn't you go to free agency, get paid and get out of here? I would. I think the Kempe contract is a bad one. Did they have a choice to stay competitive? Probably not but the last few years of that deal won't look good. If we were winning with Tuch I'd feel different, but he's simply not that sort of impact player and thus I think sell high serves you better.
  5. So you are saying he should take up painting?
  6. The worst is a bad Sabres loss the day before a Bills game...I feel like that's a bad omen and usually leads to not a great game from the Bills.
  7. He's the offense's version of Aaron Maybin. Really immature I think. Get Eric Wood to come down from the booth and scream at him 'Earn your fuc*ing money!'
  8. Perhaps the Sabres plan to give him a few games to get a taste of the NHL.
  9. Oh, I think there are. Is he open to their help? I'm guessing not. The time prior to this that he got disciplined (I forget for what (was it the New England game?)), I said that I wished his mom would move in with him in Buffalo.
  10. The relevant question is why Lindy feels like Bryson is the better option? Perplexing to me.
  11. Lets look at how bad of an argument this GAA thing is. You are bemoaning that Lyon is 24th on the GAA list... okay fine. He's got a .907sv% which let us compare to all the goalies with better GAA and see which have worse sv% #7, Darcy Keumper at 2.44gaa but 0.903sv% #9, Akira Schmid at 2.5gaa but 0.900sv% #11, Sergei Bobrovski at 2.63gaa but 0.893sv% #12, Cam Talbot at 2.71gaa but 0.896sv% #13, Jake Oettinger at 2.75gaa but 0.900sv% #14, Stuart Skinner at 2.77gaa but 0.891sv% #15, Andrei Vasilevsky at 2.77gaa but 0.900sv% #16, Jet Greaves at 2.79gaa but 0.904sv% #17, Thatcher Demko at 2.80gaa but 0.903sv% #18, Joey Daccord at 2.83gaa but 0.900sv% #19, Karel Vejmelka at 2.84gaa but 0.883sv% #20, Lukas Dostal at 2.86gaa but 0.903sv% #21, Ilya Sorokin at 2.91gaa but 0.903sv% #22, Juuse Saros at 2.91gaa but 0.892sv% #23, Filip Gustavsson at 2.99gaa but 0.897sv% #24, Jeremy Swayman at 2.99gaa but 0.902sv% #25, Dustin Wolf at 3.01gaa but 0.896sv% FINALLY at #26 we have Alex Lyon with a 3.07gaa but a 0.907sv% which means that out of allllllll the goalies with 10 or more games played, if you sort by GAA Lyon comes in at 26 and he only has a better save percentage than 17 of the guys above him in gaa. He ranks 9th in sv% by goalies with 10+ games played. But I should want 0.891sv% Stuart Skinner because his gaa is only 2.77, that doesn't make any sense. Goals against average tells us how many goals a team gives up, save percentage tells us how many shots a goalie saved.
  12. Ellis is the hot hand. Seems right Lindy would start him.
  13. He’s that famous cat.
  14. Aren't there people he can hire to step in and play the same role, keeping him on the straight and narrow?
  15. No. They need a win streak. They have 4 home games on a row. I would think the boys need a more positive energy to get things going.
  16. I just want anybody else at the top at this point. Between Laura and Jessie, I want whichever one will screams "I don't know enough about hockey to be making these decisions. Let me go get a real life professional" the loudest is my first choice.
  17. Agree K-9. To your first point, he certainly has. But I don't recall that happening when a DB is draped all over Coleman. It's the second point that led me to my comment. I just don't think Josh trusts Keon in crucial situations any longer.
  18. I think if Lindy and Jarmo both move up that means they've moved away from the Appert plan. There's a 50% chance that they go to Forton, and that almost guarantees Appert.
  19. Winning 3 of 5 (0.600) is the correct pace for a full season, but falling behind is a problem so it will take a nice winning steak right now to get back. Play at 1.000 for 8 games, shock the world, after that be a steady 3 of 5. Otherwise you have to beat 3 of 5 pace.
  20. No major sports outlet is reporting this. This is just Twitter click bait.
  21. It is Native American Heritage Night and allowing Fanatics to display their logo on the front of the jersey is poopy, but these jerseys are awesome.
  22. That's my point. @GASabresIUFAN was arguing 32 teams/32 goalies which is not reality.
