Zucker and Norris are injury plagued players who are injured every year. As is Greenway. Kesselring I know nothing about from before. Kulich is an odd one for sure and yes, Benson blocked a shot. Now back to you, are you going to accept this year's excuse "if not for injuries" cause you know it's coming.

I watched the Thompson goal again. What a play by Doan to get him the puck. Knocked down from behind and passes it to Tage through his legs -
Either way... it won't have an impact on you right? Frankly, unless NYS gets involved it wont have an impact on me either. But... give me a new owner anyway.
-
Sure but like, that's not why they are injured. Benson blocked a shot Kulich has blood clots Zucker, Kesselring, and Norris aren't young guys or light weights.
-
A true heart on the sleeve thread here. It's really hilarious to look at after the fact.
-
But if you reward him and we don't get any better then every other shlub demands the same reward and that's unsustainable and you still get nowhere.
-
Keon is a mess He has NO dog in his game IMO Rather he's an immature underachiever who doesn't seem to be getting the message???
-
Ummm, so you are going to just pay him whatever? You really want to pay him over 10 for 8? It's not a crap draft by the way. It's a very deep one as I understand it. Now as far as selling it to others on the team, obviously this implies that they are not a playoff team at the deadline and we are headed for a new GM and a new rebuild. Unless they want to endure that it might mean trading a lot more, like Tage and Dahlin too. This would not have been my preferred plan but it's what KA leaves us with. You can't just keep trying the same thing and expecting different results and if big change doesn't come that is what will happen until eventually those guys lose their love and want out anyway and if enough years go by you start to lose some of the younger guys as well. I mean the change should have come when Adams went to trade Cozens. Not to suggest I want Cozens back but this was the first young guy Adams rewarded early and was going to build around and he misjudged that entirely so out the door he should have gone. Instead he got to early reward Power as well. Still doing it to a lesser extent with Quinn. This GM has been an absolute clown show disaster and we need to stop pretending he isn't the worst GM in Sabres, if not NHL history.

Sure When "crappy" = SIX TOTAL TOUCHDOWNS 🤣🤣🤣 Allen is earning his paycheck AND half of this team's (HC/OC/DC/GM and so on) IMO Do you remember what this team was like BEFORE Josh??? Have you seen what QBs are like on other teams? Josh's only failure has been masking the deficiencies of those around him and producing an unnatural W-L record, which keeps Buf from properly restocking the talent on this team, because they've been drafting at the mid to late 20s for 7 frigging years The draft is a crapshoot as it is, and NEVER drafting in the top half of the rounds seriously handicapps your team in regard to replenishing personnel Josh is the KING of making chicken salad out of chicken 💩

I didn't really suggest that. I was merely responding to the notion that the new strength coach was failing at his job. I was saying he can't change things over night. As far as the injury correlation goes is it bad luck? If so, ask yourself how I predicted this in August? Am I just lucky at guessing they are unlucky? The one thing we can surely agree on is there are quite a few young light weights with bodies not fully developed and some lacking muscle mass and size. Constant work on adding muscle to these guys would be a good idea.

Shakir is an EXECELLENT WR, slot or not That level of production from a day 3 pick is close to alchemy IMO

TB really gave up with 38 seconds to go. Not sure I've ever seen a Defeat Formation.

Oh for sure! If they're going to reach the (seemingly) impossible dream of a playoff appearance (can't say playoff 'run.' One step at a time) it'll be due to the players, overcoming some obvious/painful shortcomings of the "system" they're currently stuck under. Seeing them dig deep, not quit on each other (which, we've witnessed too many times in recent seasons), and pull a victory out of last night's circumstances is a promising development (hopefully) Especially sweet, to me, was that ending 😍 -
He finally hit someone and is now injured, what kind of cream puffs do we have on this team?

The "full-grown" is why She's a fleshy refrigerator of advanced age. By now, the excess weight has likely worn out her joints and she's likely developed osteoarthritis in those knees PLUS she's got a rooting interest in Detroit Therefore, she's a miserable old woman and, as you know, misery LOVES company. In conclusion, if her gesture of disapproval produces even a microgram of sadness in any of our boys hearts, especially true if accomplished during moment of a jubilant gathering, she will feel pleasure In simpler terms she's a troll, in need of a feed 😁 -
Forgive me for my error. I have sinned.

Dahlin is taking a leave of absence to return to Sweden

He takes his role as captain seriously? -
Hawes probably makes it easier to get rid of Knox and his bad contract.
-
How hard is it for people to understand the devastating second order consequences of not paying Tuch: Dahlin and Tage demand out, Team's reputation around the league somehow gets even worse, Team morale completely collapses.
-
By "A lot" you mean a late first in one of the most crap drafts in years and a mid-level prospect. Imagine walking into the locker room and telling everyone you just traded Tuch for a pile of dreck because the idiot owner didn't want to pay him?
-
Seriously, the business part is easy IF AND ONLY IF the team wins more than it loses. Success on the ice will result in success off the ice. Simple as that. No way around it.

You seem to be suggesting that the Sabre players are less fit than most other players in the league and it is a factor for the number of injuries. I doubt that is the case. There is no question that the Sabres have had a series of injuries that has thinned out the roster. That's just the way it works out. Players being injured by the puck is uncontrollable. What makes the number of injuries even more noticeable is that this roster is thinner than most and has less capability to absorb injuries to front line players. Hockey is obviously a very physical sport, and injuries are an issue that all teams have to contend with. It just so happens that we have been subjected more than the usual number of injuries. It happens and can't be controlled.
