  1. Today
  2. Bills are a 3 or 4 win team w/o Allen.
  3. Was it hitting on Allen or was the Bills GM just good at his job? Many complain about various positional shortcomings on the Bills roster, wr room depth, defensive zone coverages that have blown key games, but there is no mistaking the Bills are a perennial playoff team. And ya, Allen has everything to do with that. We got hosed on the McDavid sweepstakes, I will always wonder what could have been. The Sabres just do not have the culture to succeed. The Bills do.
  4. It’s not Kevyns fault we don’t have palm trees and no state income tax……….. I’ll see myself out……..😂
  5. Ya gots to keep yer head up. hockey 101.
  6. Over 500 in Eddies library. Still not released
  7. You don't replace a guy like Dahlin. You just don't. But in terms of what you have on D, on paper, it can still work. Two highly skilled offensive D. One or two (depending on how you look at it) middle level defenders. Another half decent big D man and then you add one journeyman (and hopefully not Bryson). Most teams are like that. So it's now on the forwards to step up their D game and play a tighter team concept not relying on one star. They do that they might actually win more. Heck, the PP could even be better (can't be much worse) if they finally start spreading it around.
  8. No buy outs. Trade him if you can. You probably can't. Send him to Rochester IDGAF.
  9. I agree with the premise that Terry doesn't meddle in football and hence it's more successful. I've said that repeatedly over the years but I would say the Bills would be a very mediocre middle of the pack team without Josh Allen.
  10. Optics? Honestly I have no idea. We can surmise he might be a potential Kevyn replacement but who really knows from the outside.
  11. I’m not giving up on the season but I don’t have to back down from my line of “Adams gets 5 years” once year 6 starts lmao
  12. A buy out is 1,58 milj AAV for 6 years.
  13. I expected him to leave at some point. I just had hopes we wouldn't be last by then. Wish all the best to Rasmus, Carolina and their families.
  14. Completely wrong. It's Beane who built the O line. It's Beane who drafted Cook, Kincaid, Shakir, Brown, Torrence, Hawes, Benford, Bernard, Rousseau, Bishop, Walker, Hairston among others. It's Beane who signed Bosa this season and added quality players like Ty Johnson, Shaq Thompson, and others over the years. Has he made mistakes? Sure, which GM hasn't, but Beane is an excellent GM who continues to keep this team on top.
  15. Bills only thrive because they hit on Josh Allen
  16. Come on, Promo. You know better than that. We are Buffalo Sabres fans. We are dismayingly loyal to the team despite 13 seasons of no post season play. We bitch and moan because we are committed . Pegula’s indifference and his dismaying loyalty to Adams, a GM who has failed to roster a team to qualify for the playoffs after five seasons at the helm, and likely will fail again this season, tests our loyalty. Yet, we persevere precisely because we are Sabres fans. If You want to pick on anybody, pick on the indifferent owner and the incompetent GM.
  17. Like Taro pointed out, that’s crap. We just don’t celebrate it.
  18. I'm reading Sabres looking to move goalie. Anybody know where I can get a quantity deal on cases of Vasoline.?
  19. The issue isn't so much that he's not a true NHLer, it's that they seem to have at least 2, if not 4 other guys, that are better than him that should be pencilled into the 7 on the depth chart before him, but for reasons that are based more upon how he doesn't upset the apple cart when he doesn't get into a game in a long time rather than how he actually plays when he gets into the top 6 he is the 7. If he was even the 8, it would be way easier to take his getting into games. Plus, they HAD a better 7 in Bernard-Docker and let him walk for nothing.
  20. Bryson is everyones favorite whipping boy, but I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as most think. I mean, honestly what are you expecting for a 7th D man? Is he supposed to be some all-star level player?
  21. The sesason isn't a tire fire YET. Though it is shaping up to be to a point where Lyon might need to show off some more of that late season Panther magic he had when he last played for them to keep it from becoming one. And, might be very wrong about this, but can see this latest development to be a great opportunity for the team to come together, not in the kumbaya way they would under Granato that left them loving each other but not actually playing for each other (or even themselves it seemed at times) but in a way where they each dig a little deeper and find a way to pick up the slack that is there now that the Captain is out of the lineup that he was unable to pickup himself due to his thoughts being 8 or so time zones away. Win games for Carolina, win games for Ras, win games for each other, win games for themselves. Force there to be a positive coming out of this. And, if they truly do come together and finally become a team, well, we've found the silver lining in this tragic story.
  22. You make it sound like the season has been a complete tire fire. No it hasn't been great but they are barely out of a playoff position. I think if they were playing well it would be an easier decision for him to leave lets see how they do without him. Maybe they surprise us and step up in his absence.
  23. To the bolded, that is simply not true.
