For some reason I always liked Tom Petty but never bought his albums. I've got a few now. Probably pick up some more.

Zucker was great until he hurt his shoulder, even before his illness. Great bump to the lineup and good play all around (even the penalty was fine). Hopefully, Benson gives them a similar bump when he gets back. They can play at a higher level. They just need to lose horribly once a week to re-stoke the fire. But winning 2 of 3 for the rest of the season will get them to the playoffs.

I remember my older brother picking up that album when I was 13. We wore the grooves off that one.

Recently picked up a CD copy of that album. I forgot how quickly it vaulted Tom Petty successful rock band to superstar.

And should they be fortunate enough to find themselves missing the playoffs by 2 or 3 points (they'll miss them by more than that in my opinion) you can look back on the 2 losses to really bad clubs (Blues/Flames) and say "damn, if they had just played with the energy they had against the Hawks, they'd be in!" You never ever throw away games like those 2!

Perhaps if they hadn’t done the exact same thing two weeks ago against a Blues team also playing the second of a back to back, people would be less uptight about a loss to a crap team. It’s a pattern with this team and has been for years now.
