  1. Past hour
  2. Outside of who has the best happy hour , close to the arena..
  3. Speaking of Muppets. Rosen with some great chances about 1 minute into the 2nd. Couldn't bury any of them but at least he got the chances.
  4. They already have you. They don't have the money of foreign markets. 2nd period -- listening in -- and there it is. "Sabres from right to left" Dan helps me out.
  5. You really wouldn't learn much about the game anyway listening to Dan and Rob
  6. I can’t even listen on WGR because I’m out of market. How do you make teams play regular season games in other countries to grow the sport but don’t let fans listen on the radio if they’re in a different region of the U.S.?
  7. Yesterday
  8. Because they could use Kermit's voice for the introducing the Guest Star part but instead of a Guest Star like John Denver, it could be whoever scored the goal. Mr. Zach Benson!! Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa!!!
  9. The Muppet Show theme! Now, THERE's something we can work with!
  10. some truly awful selections the Sabres put out Lately the only songs that seem appropriate are the Benny Hill theme song & the Muppet Show
  11. I’m watching it in Syracuse on the Sabres website.
  12. No goals allowed after 4 periods. Columbus should fire their coach !
  13. No league blast it’s own Dick off like the NHL
  14. Guess it's back to the old days of having to read about it in the morning in the Courier-Express...
  15. Again, fully expect the Sabres would love to have all 314 people that want to watch the game be able to watch it, but MSG isn't selling any ads because advertisers don't want to pay for 314 sets of eyeballs and MSG has the exclusive rights to the Sabres games that don't end up on ABC, ESPN, nor TNT, so they aren't exercising their rights and they also aren't subletting the rights to any other carriers. One more way the Sabres deal w/ MSG stinks for the fans.
  16. Am guessing it's more on the NHL's & the individual teams' "broadcast partners." They likely aren't going to get enough viewers to be able to sell advertising at any reasonable rate and they have "exclusive" rights to games in the team's barn. Since the BJ's were showing last night's game on TV, the Sabres were allowed to do so as well. And because the game was on the regional networks that ESPN+ has rights to broadcast, they showed it as well. MSG wanted nothing to do with tonight's game, so the Sabres are showing it to all 36 of us in the area that want to watch but not attend and the BJ's website is showing it as well. Expecting you have to be in the greater C-Bus area to watch their feed; just know it isn't available here in WNY.
  17. Agree, and if they were on MSG then they would be on espn+ for us out of towners. BuffaloSabres.com says you have to be local. That restriction makes no sense to me. Do they want more fans?
  18. We had the Columbus Feed on MSG locally in Buffalo last night. Their preseason home games at least should be on MSG
  19. Thanks for the info. I don't have espn+. I just noticed that the game is on WGR radio. So I'll listen for a while.
  20. I could get the Columbus feed on espn+ last night, but not the Buffalo feed tonight. There are four other NHL GAMES on espn+ that I can get right now. This is a Buffalo Sabres limitation.
  21. It was on ESPN+ let night if you have it. I don't get the NHLs whole thing about not showing every preseason game. I mean they aren't even for sale.
  22. Yeah, I'm going back and forth between Red Sox-Blue Jays and Bruins-Rangers.
  23. Couldn't watch the game last night and can't do it this night. Irritation after irritation. Next option is to watch the WNBA playoffs. When option A is not available then go to option B.
  24. Forgot about the number change, thought Benson had a growth spurt.
