But also ... like @Jorcus proved @LGR4GM's point ... The Sabres have given up 103 GA ... a 20% reduction is TWENTY fewer goals against. Surely, if you spread that over the any of the losses, it results in more points. Yes, they probably would have given up fewer goals in some of the wins ... but there is no way giving up 20 fewer GA does not result in 4-6 more points in the standings, which <checks math> would put them within 1 or 2 points of the wild card. Actually 20% would be kind of absurd ... it would put them somewhere around 6th fewest GA in the conference. But a boy can dream!

I actually expect them to win this game. Edmonton falls into wide open offense easily and that's what Sabres like and do best in. Should be some goals scored tonight. If they come out flat and suck it will mean they have quit on the coach/season/team/etc.

Let's trade Tuch and see what Rosen can do for the rest of the season

Hope they get absolutely hammered and humiliated here and in Vancouver because it will get noted by the hockey media north of the 48th parade in a way it wouldn't down here where it's all handegg throwball coverage. They will give Terry Ballard and Kevyn Milbury the public hammering both richly deserve (watch the Calgary feed from last night and see how they spent the whole game shitting on the entire organization).

Meh, personally I don’t want to see him injured but I’m rooting for chaos at this point. Anything that can throw this season into a complete tailspin, just to ensure bozo the GM isn’t anywhere near this team next season. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t root for them to lose but I sure can get excited about events that might lead to Adams getting the axe.

Casual observer tonight. Such a sad state of affairs

I picked trading TT, but it was a reaction to that play, or lack thereof, against Philly, where he lackadaisically went after the puck while on the PP and lost it to a defender, then basically stood there and watched. He plays like he needs to conserve his energy over an 82 game season so he's got a full tank for the playoffs.
