just re-watched OT... had Buffalo at around 55-56 seconds of possession

Big win for the Sabres Saturday night on the road against the Leagues hottest team. If we know Lindy, he substitutes Norris for Kozak, Greenway for Dunne and keeps all the other lines the same. Buffalo wins going away with Ellis in the net on Monday against the Peg. Lots of chatter about the Norris goal and assist. If he can just stay heathy they say. Ellis gets one more chance to prove his worth as a #1 and the Sabres are shut out in Philly on Wednesday. UPL gets the net in Winnipeg on Friday where the Jets exact revenge and shut out the Sabres 6-0. The board is flush with Adams must be fired, annd UPL traded. I question my sobriety. Wash Rinse Repeat. Wake me up if they ever win 4 in a row.

By Lindy's philosophy, Ellis should be starting Monday. 🔥👋

I think the first step is just ripping the band-aid off and trading UPL. Go with Lyon and Ellis for the rest of the season.

Norris is a 2C around the league -- a good one, but not a top-line talent. He'd be the 2C on the Sabres as well, if Ruff trusted TNT to play defense.

Ellis should be the guy going forward until he gives a reason not to be.

I thought they played just OK, lucky 2nd goal and hung on in OT. I'd argue they played better against New Jersey, but that's hockey sometimes.

It was fun just sitting here for the past year+ watching all the folks on Sabrespace yelling about Rosen and Östlund being "busts" and how they should be traded for anything they could get ... they are decent players and unless they missed out on a chance to bring in Mackinnon or McDavid by hanging on to them, I would say the organization is better off for having them around.

They have to play Ellis more. The team plays for him, even when they're playing crappy.

That game is what I imagine the NHL brass wants their product to be.

Shooters will tell you they often miss the net because they have nothing to shoot at. Credit the goaltenders for that.
