Why do you have a problem with San Jose taking on a contract to get to the cap minimum? You might not like the contract maneuver but it’s within the rules. It’s not something that the Sabres would likely do, and I’m fine with that. There's at least one other "connection" to the Sabres. The 3rd of his "Game" books "Game Change" was centered around the life and death of former Sabre Steve Montador. All 3 books (The Game and Home Game were the other 2) are all excellent tomes. The 2nd one was turned into a 6 part miniseries for either CBC or CTV (forget which one it aired on). That also was very good. He was a very talented man. This is a truly sad day. RIP 29.

I’m a little confused here. Why does the team have to do anything when a player changes numbers? Even offering up a name plate change for a price is more than used to ever be available. Buying a jersey with a name on it doesn’t give you a lifetime of name changes. That guy isn’t wearing that number forever.
