  1. Past hour
  2. I'm one of those guys. I still think they should have packaged him a while back for a much needed vet. We've got too many F's and not enough spots in the lineup for them all. Now that his stock is up, I'd still package him. But I'm glad I'm wrong about him never being good.
  3. Where are all the people who said Rosen was nothing and would never be nothing? The ones who said we should “throw him in a trade” like some 5th round pick…. You know who you are.
  4. A win tonight at home, against the worst team in the league on a back to back not only will extend the winning streak to 3 games but it will have also properly weathered the injury storm, positioning us just 2-4 points out of a playoff spot with everyone finally returning for a (nearly, damn Kesselring) fully healthy roster for the first time this year. They’ll have not only survived in the standings to be within reach, but also shown good systematic play being right around league average in 5v5 xGF%. They’ll have done all of that with the most injury ridden team I’ve ever seen, certainly the most injury ridden team in the NHL this year, and with their star players having been off of their game the entire time. I’d call this all reason for not just subtle optimism, but actually reason for plenty of optimism if they can win tonight. Buttttttt exactly because of those reasons in the very encouraging few paragraphs I just typed out, the Sabres will find a way to lose tonight as they always do in these games lol Go Sabres!
  5. Zucker will return this Friday at the earliest per Joe Yerdon. ^ Or what he said ^ Riding the hot hand.
  6. This morning, the Bill ruled TE Dalton Kincaid, WR Curtis Samuel, and WR Mecole Hardman Jr. out for Thursday's game. Even if Moore draws in first, Keon has a spot.
  7. Which kinda sucks from two perspectives. A) Coleman just isn’t a very good NFL player right now B) This kid needs a tough lesson.
  8. Zucker will be available FRIDAY, according to what Lindy Ruff just said. Also Zach Benson may come back in "a short period of time" which I presume is late next week.
  9. Just like they beat the Blues two weeks ago. Wait a minute….
  10. You simply need to beat the worst team in hockey that played last night. No excuses.
  11. Wow. I'm shocked. Would have expected Lyon. Thankful it isn't UPL. Sabres need to win this one, look good doing it, and show us its not 'same sh!t, different year'.
  12. Coleman will likely be active out of sheer necessity because it appears the Bills are short of healthy bodies at WR this week. How many snaps he gets and from what position will be interesting to follow. Shakir's health (and Gabe's) will be a key factor in all of this.
  13. Why mess with all this? I would not play Zucker until he is ready. Play Rosen and get him fired up. Toronto won last night, winning this game is important just to keep pace. The Sabres must get a win streak going.
  14. Depends on whether the Sabres play like “we’ve won two in a row— we’ve got this all figured out. Watch how slick and fancy we can play”.
  15. He could... if he's traded or some form of sign/trade or with an extension announced as part of the offer so the Sabres get a bit more in the return.
  16. Today
  17. I get missing a meeting or two at the very start of your career. I’m not sure where the line is, but the back half of your second season is definitely past it.
  18. If Zucker draws into the lineup tonight, I want him in protected minutes. For tonight, I'd have him take Rosén's spot in the lineup, and then have Östlund or Krebs each take a couple of his shifts. I keep Östlund in the lineup because of the 2-goal night vs. Edmonton and his ability to create more. Zucker takes Östlund's spot by the net on the PP and Östlund kicks out the half-wall. Once Zucker plays a couple games and is full strength, then the line he naturally fits on is current defensive matchup line: Greenway - Kozak -Krebs Zucker.
  19. Sounded like yesterday after practice that Ruff was probably keeping Zucker out until this weekend.
  20. Everyone did a great job of moving the pile a few feet to the right to keep Romanov clear. I love the crowd control from Heiskanen. The one islander spraying him in the face though, that guy gets an eye roll.
  21. This is so true. The Sabres cannot afford to overlook this team tonight. Especially with Oppie behind them.
  22. Taken to the cleaners for UPL? I think most on here would be satisfied with “future considerations” to get that contract off the books. Terry would be even happier.
