I f’n hate AI voiceovers. That was the moment I realized that the NFL is Bullshizz and really stopped caring.
-
What’s irksome is not the dissent as it is the perplexing reasoning. 🙃
-
Let's follow your logic a bit. You believe the Sabres get hosed by officials because "they deserve it." What is the respect Mendoza line in the NHL. Is it teams in a playoff position? Is it teams above .500? Do teams in the bottom five not qualify for fair officiating? Or is that special treatment only reserved for the Sabres? And if it is only Buffalo that fails to earn the respect of league's officials, are they not putting their thumbs on the scales to keep Buffalo at the bottom? Do I have that right?
-
So is whistling past the graveyard.
-
It doesn’t matter how few or many people will be snickering in the crowd. What matters to the most of us is what the owner does to help this floundering franchise get on the right track.
-
Well if and when he does make a public statement, we'll find out just how "few" of those people there are. I don't put the fan base down. I just won't follow the groupthink. And that irks people. Dissent is irksome.

I’m a proud member of the moron class. I still have the ability to recognize when someone is peeing on me and not blame the non-existent rain on a sunny day. 😇

There are people who would love to see Terry P publicly embarrassed at the podium because of his unpolished speaking ability. That ridiculing group make up a small/minuscule faction of the audience who want to see him ACT more judiciously.
-
It almost seems they are afraid to expose Ellis to too much action, too soon. I suspect in the long run he is the best of the group
-
PTR just has a habit of putting down the fan base. Most fans lack his level of sophistication to fully comprehend these complex situations.
-
I'm not denying the record. I'm pointing out what people really want when they say they want Terry to speak. They want to ridicule him, not that anything is stopping them now. But they want fresh material.
-
It makes all the sense in the world here. You should actually watch a few of his Amerks games

Doesn’t Terry sign Rob Ray’s paycheck…?
-
Rob Ray is in a tough spot. He’s been around the sport for a long enough time to know what the situation is. If he candidly and publicly spoke about the real state of affairs about this franchise, he would be out of a job. Marty Biron is an excellent hockey analyst who is knowledgeable about the home team and league in general. He also is cautious and guarded when discussing the team. When it comes to job security you sometimes have to tip toe in how you conduct yourself. There is no secret about the state of affairs for this bedraggled franchise. It’s too obvious not to see. It’s really a shame that the owner is willing to just continue on continuing on.
-
Rob Ray is a well liked fun character and a nice guy. He was a real Buffalo Sabre and is a member of the teams Hall of Fame. Terry, being a hockey guy too, likes to hang with the guys. The fans are fans.
-
Terry Pegula cares to the extent that he cares to be right about things himself, no matter how long it takes. He cares about that more than he does about turning things around. If the Sabres are going to start winning, it is going to be his way, because of his decisions. I get the impression he is just stubborn He is not wanting to change course on his past decisions because that would be admitting a mistake. He wants his decisions of the past to be proved the correct ones. The only question to me is how long will that stuborness last.

Man, Rob is obviously expected to be a spokesperson for the organization. He struggled to say any bad thing atoll.

I voted UPL worst. I didn't vote for the other two because none of them have shown to be adequate long term. UPL's flash several seasons ago combined with Adams extending him has led to this quagmire of hockey without a legitimate goalie and a seeming unwillingness (inability) to move on from him. Watching UPL in the crease is like Groundhog Day, with Sabres fans the Bill Murray character dropping the toaster in the bathtub and still waking up to "I Got You, Babe" the next morning.
