  1. Past hour
  2. I don't remember how they ran lines in Winnipeg. That team also had Geekie.
  3. Wasn't Savoie his center most of his Jr career?
  4. Idk maybe. I don't know chinakov at all.
  5. But it doesn't make it wrong either. Adams needs to take some risks to improve the team.
  6. No idea if he could play nhl C.
  7. Could he learn center; yes Would it be wise to; probably not He certainly brings the defensive competence that great centers have and is a sneaky good playmakers
  8. He wouldn’t of been a good pick up due to Greenway being retained however had he been traded or walked I would of approved I wish him great health and zero NHL success for the next 3 seasons 😉
  9. True, but you're not adding him for points. You're adding him to make your line up tougher. That "harder to play against" mantra we heard Ruff and Adams use here. Also to open up space for your supposed skill players to do what they do. Leafs are managing to turn themselves into a more balanced hockey team now that they aren't salary heavy in the big top 4. 2 1/2 much easier to manage than 4.
  10. That doesn't make it smart.
  11. lol I struggled to write it because Leafs
  12. I'm sure he does. Doesn't mean he likes him Benson or 1st round picks like him
  13. Today
  14. Of course, some people do. So what? Taking a big swing just to give an appearance of doing something significant makes little sense if in the end it is make your roster worse.
  15. Yesterday
  16. Jarmo Kekalainen was the GM who drafted him. In fact Chinakhov was expected to go in RDS 2-3 when Jarmo took him at 21 overall in 2020. So he must have liked the kid.
  17. Amerks are offering a big discount of opening night tickets. $17 I think.
  18. I just don't want him that badly. And they are not trading him for Krebs from my perspective.
  19. Sometimes I feel like people just want a swing.
  20. I'll agree with you on this Benson take.
  21. Absolutely not! There's a big difference between taking a big swing and a dumb swing. There has to be a general balance in value between what you give up and what you give back. I'm sure that Byram was dangled on the market. Apparently, the return was inadequate. So he was signed on a short-term deal. That was the right course of action, at least as I see it. It was known that JJP wanted out. So he was dealt. In my opinion, the return for him was reasonable.
  22. First let me ask how bad do you want him! And if you add him, where does he play and who does he knock off the roster? Ideally you offer that Sabre plus a pick or a non-A level prospect. Does Chinakhov replace Krebs? Offer Krebs. But you are not getting anything for a low prospect and a 2nd.
  23. What would you give up for him?
  24. And you blame Adams for not being able to make a deal. 😂😂
  25. The Cheeto in Chief is clueless about the economy. Just a matter of time until his billionaire puppet masters reign him in like they did with the meat processing plants. https://www.epi.org/publication/trumps-deportation-agenda-will-destroy-millions-of-jobs-both-immigrants-and-u-s-born-workers-would-suffer-job-losses-particularly-in-construction-and-child-care/
  26. I'm not advocating for Benson. I agree he's worth keeping. But would you trade Quinn? That seems like a fair exchange. One often injured player with potential for another? But someone gets moved if we add a forward. Naw. Buffalo would feel like home to them.
  27. He very well might do this once he finds outs he’s being traded to the Sabres.
  28. I was just asking if he could play C - the lineup would, if he could if you actually read my tweet you’d see it was more so a thought experiment - I find my perception almost changes when I can identify a solid 1C It was absolutely not rhetorical
