  1. Past hour
  2. Zucker will return this Friday at the earliest per Joe Yerdon.
  3. This morning, the Bill ruled TE Dalton Kincaid, WR Curtis Samuel, and WR Mecole Hardman Jr. out for Thursday's game. Even if Moore draws in first, Keon has a spot.
  4. Which kinda sucks from two perspectives. A) Coleman just isn’t a very good NFL player right now B) This kid needs a tough lesson.
  5. Zucker will be available FRIDAY, according to what Lindy Ruff just said. Also Zach Benson may come back in "a short period of time" which I presume is late next week.
  6. Just like they beat the Blues two weeks ago. Wait a minute….
  7. You simply need to beat the worst team in hockey that played last night. No excuses.
  8. Wow. I'm shocked. Would have expected Lyon. Thankful it isn't UPL. Sabres need to win this one, look good doing it, and show us its not 'same sh!t, different year'.
  9. Coleman will likely be active out of sheer necessity because it appears the Bills are short of healthy bodies at WR this week. How many snaps he gets and from what position will be interesting to follow. Shakir's health (and Gabe's) will be a key factor in all of this.
  10. Why mess with all this? I would not play Zucker until he is ready. Play Rosen and get him fired up. Toronto won last night, winning this game is important just to keep pace. The Sabres must get a win streak going.
  11. Depends on whether the Sabres play like “we’ve won two in a row— we’ve got this all figured out. Watch how slick and fancy we can play”.
  12. He could... if he's traded or some form of sign/trade or with an extension announced as part of the offer so the Sabres get a bit more in the return.
  13. I get missing a meeting or two at the very start of your career. I’m not sure where the line is, but the back half of your second season is definitely past it.
  14. If Zucker draws into the lineup tonight, I want him in protected minutes. For tonight, I'd have him take Rosén's spot in the lineup, and then have Östlund or Krebs each take a couple of his shifts. I keep Östlund in the lineup because of the 2-goal night vs. Edmonton and his ability to create more. Zucker takes Östlund's spot by the net on the PP and Östlund kicks out the half-wall. Once Zucker plays a couple games and is full strength, then the line he naturally fits on is current defensive matchup line: Greenway - Kozak -Krebs Zucker.
  15. Sounded like yesterday after practice that Ruff was probably keeping Zucker out until this weekend.
  16. Everyone did a great job of moving the pile a few feet to the right to keep Romanov clear. I love the crowd control from Heiskanen. The one islander spraying him in the face though, that guy gets an eye roll.
  17. This is so true. The Sabres cannot afford to overlook this team tonight. Especially with Oppie behind them.
  18. Taken to the cleaners for UPL? I think most on here would be satisfied with “future considerations” to get that contract off the books. Terry would be even happier.
  19. Except he can’t get an 8 year contract. He can get a 6 year. All being equal, that would be $20M less than he could get from the Sabres.
  20. Today
  21. Perhaps only to the most brilliant hockey minds that deign to visit this message board.
  22. If Zucker returns tonight, who gets benched? Presumably they send Metsa back for the roster spot..but a forward still needs to sit for Zucker. What would your lines be? I almost wonder if you just run it back even if Zucker can go and see how the lines do again tonight. I can't see them doing this again (but it should would be great if they did)
