It's better for Johnson's development to play heavy minutes in Rochester vs the spot duty Bryson is getting in Buffalo.

They’ve rushed so many players in recent years. I like seeing a few guys left to simmer a bit now. I know some might take issue, but I think it’s better for most players.

Yeah, it really truly isn't a bad thing should Kulich be the only Amerk from last year that makes the jump out of the gate this year.  THAT sort of thing happens quite often to the teams that are actual members of the NHL and not merely affiliates.

As the #7, I am guessing Bryson sees 40-50 games due to injuries.  I wouldn’t call that “spot duty”.

And meanwhile many around here are ready to write someone off after one year as a pro. Our minds have been so warped by the last 14 years.

This is how I've been feeling since they traded JJP.  It also feels 90% likely that they will be bottom-5 in payroll yet again.

They are officially not a real NHL team until proven otherwise.  Such a disappointment.
