Taro T
RIP to one of the Sabres from all the way back in '70-'71, Dave Dryden. Ken Dryden's big brother. Was also an innovator in goalie equipment. Not only did he come up with a major innovation to the goalie mask he also made the goalie leg pads significantly lighter. He was '81 and played 4 seasons with the Sabres before bolting to the WHA.
Ducky
Sad to hear. He carved out a solid career as a journeyman goalie. RIP 1
Pimlach
Sad to hear. Dave did a nice job as backup goalie for those early teams. Classic game was when he started an NHL game against little brother Ken.

Sabres Fan in NS
Always sad to hear this kind of news. When a player passes from your youth it really illustrates how quickly time races by. I used to think that 81 was very old. I just turned 58 so now I look at 81 a little differently.

Yesterday my brother informed me that our old neighborhood friend just passed away. He found out from Facebook. This guy was a ice and street hockey player with me, going back to the Crozier/Daley/Dryden era. Time flies.
