What type of contract would it take to get these players to sign with Buffalo? As a fan, pick one player from each category for KA to add!! 1. KA needs to add one more forward who is a vet and proven point getter. options- RW- Dustin Brown- 1 year deal $2.5million AAV- local guy who might cherish the idea of finishing his career close to home. Good mentor for young players. RW- Phil Kessell- 1 year deal $4million AAV- good playoff pedigree, he'll likely sign with a playoff contender for cheaper if he wants to get back into playoffs. He shoots left but is listed LD/RD and is a definite cap casualty in Minnesota this offseason. He could return there for a small contract to continue playing in his home state on a good roster, but he can definitely sign a top-4 contract on the open market.
