Except with much better hands.

Murray is good (in the AHL at least) at getting to and burying rebounds, and taking pass in tight and spitting the puck back out to a perimeter shooter.

Murray doesn't skate particularly well, he doesn't shoot the puck very well, he's not a setup guy, doesn't make his teammates better.    Hands are average at best, doesn't contribute defensively.      He fills a role at this time (net front/size), but if the braintrust have identified him as part of the "solution" moving forward, we're in trouble.

My forecast: career AHL'er with short stint call-ups when Buffalo is contending for a playoff spot.  

Do better.
