I just think she wasn't ready for that corner kick immediately after the injury. That said, I know it's strategy and leaving her in is smarter if you anticipate the game going to PKs. Talking to her team and coaches and telling them that they did a damn good job (speculating). She also went over and shook hands with the Japan players after the game.
