I thought the two picks we give up if Miller re-signs or make the WCF are Minnesota's 2nd and our 3rd.

If the Sabres had traded for a JT Compher clone, we'd all be happy. Fasching is basically having the same freshman year of college hockey that Compher is *and* he did great at the WJCs (which Compher never had a chance to play in). If he builds on this year and keeps developing, this is a great trade for us.

I doubt it was intentional, but I love how you're thinking.

LA got their picks back from us. We still have MN's 2nd but it goes to STL if they make the WCF (but then we get their 1st).

If the Blues make the WCF, we will have four picks in the top 40 in June. If they don't, we have 5 in the top 65 or so.

It's Winnipeg's 2nd rounder this year, so that could be Top 40.

Trade just went from OK to F'ing brainless.

If nothing else got done after McNabb, this is a total disaster.

Etem is the guy that trashed Buffalo during the WJCs a few years back.

Time to start bracing for major disappointment.

He actually might be a "star prospect" now. In the last 10 months he's been VERY strong in college *and* in the WJCs, two levels he'd never played at before. He was scouted as a 17 year old. It's not crazy to think he'd come into his own as an 18 year old. We have to hope he does or else we just traded a lot for nothing.

I'd love him a lot more if he actually gets something done in the next 80 minutes.

Our 2nd is actually 30th this year because of the Devils. Really hope we didn't lost that one. (Note: 30th pending our late season winning streak.)
