  1. Here ya go..it is epic, funny, and will have you in tears. http://media.wgr550.com/a/103418239/3-18-howard-officially-loses-it-over-the-sabres-win-against-boston.htm? BTW, Jeremy texted out this fool is starting for the Yotes tonight http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=122607 Yep, last team was ECHL. As Howard would say...###### Nolan, this is serious now, No more Lindbach , no more Hackett, i want the worst Elmira goalie up for the the remainder of the season..looks like some dude named TRavis Fullerton. If he gives any pushback, fired on the spot. I dont hear any noise coming from Tippet, and he has more coaching credentials than Nolan. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=82983
  2. At Pens Caps. Ov two hands Letang , stays on for two shifts to stand up and take his medicine, no one touches him. Told guy next to me It's their Miller moment, cross em off contender status
  3. Damn it, i have already deleted the game from the DVR...did this really happen? i must have hit the skip right then cause i did not see this. I cannot find the answer on line, bu i would think the same 6 have to stay on no? Edit...did find it now, it is in the rulebook..81.4 Line Change on Icing - A team that is in violation of this rule shall not be permitted to make any player substitutions prior to the ensuing face-off. Should the offending team elect to utilize their team time-out at this stoppage of play, they are still not permitted to make any player substitutions. However, a team shall be permitted to make a player substitution to replace a goalkeeper who had been substituted for an extra attacker, to replace an injured player, or when a penalty has been assessed which affects the on-ice strength of either team. The determination of players on ice will be made when the puck leaves the Who knew???
  4. Hey there, i lived in Love Canal for the first 17 years of my life, and unfortunately my appendage still has the irish curse
  5. Hat to be the moral police here as i rarely post..but you bought the slicer, used it, then returned it? Really? Kinda like stealing no? On to the topic...i thing it would be nuts to get the wings shipped.Maybe LeNova would ship you a bottle of sauce...that you have for several batches. I somewhat agree..naked wings fried are the basis for Buffalo Wings...after that its all about the sauce. Now, if you talking breaded, cooked, grilled etc, these are not Buffalo Wings but Chicken Wings. I Like several of those as well...i smoke wings, grill them, use the Alton Brown method of steam first then high heat baked....all good, but all not Buffalo Wings
  6. I will be watching in real time for the first time this season. Hope to make it to end of 1st. But i am a tried and true wussy when it comes to watching the other 81 shows....unless the last couple become important in the Carrion League
  7. That made my day!!! Still laughing :w00t:
  8. i guess Swamp i am not getting upset cause i just see such a huge change in the roster over the next 18 months.Be first to admit i am not the guy who watches minor league or even college hockey, so have to go with what i read about our prospects.Seems Sabres are rated #1, and we have 3 more Round 1 picks this year...and maybe more after the deadline is over. If i felt we were getting McDavid and keeping 90% of this roster...holy mother of God i would be upset. Just does not feel that way to me. The starts let me go to sleep early knowing a loss is in hand...
  9. BRAWNDO, i think sending the highest vote getter for the all star game down might be too much even for the NHL, although i am all for it. Besides, just keep sending Meszaros out there and give him #1 minutes...tank assured
  10. I think people are severely underestimating the "expectations" and the effect it has on players. When the expectations of management are to lose games, deep down that just has to play on the psyche of the players. I know, i know, they are professionals, they are paid to give max effort every night. And they should be playing for their own future, but i just think that is easy to say and hard to accomplish. And forget value for goalies...what GMTM got for Miller last year was an absolute steal...never see the likes of that again for a goalie, let alone two who are not proven winners in the playoffs. So while value may have dropped, don't think there was much value to begin with.
  11. I think the term "losing properly" at the beginning of the year should have let everyone in that the tank was on in Buffalo. I guess i am just surprised people are upset at the "way" they are losing...they have very little talent...talent with work beats work..just plain and simple. My gut is 60%-70% of this team not on opening day roster fall of 2016..i just cant get worked up by the scores right now. BTW, God Bless youth. My 13 year still watches every minute in his Molson (taped over Vanek) jersey...better fan than I
  12. Watching him play for the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup final ( my housemates were Penguins fans) and thinking this dude is weird, but he is stopping the puck somehow! Him making save after save in the 4 OT game...long story but somewhat led to me being married. :worthy: His exit after the Kasparitus goal...the way he skated off the ice, his body language, something was just off....not to much later we found out why
  13. So not sure where to post this, but did not see it anywhere else. But in Teddys weekly spot on WGR this morning, sure sounded like he would be all in favor of big Z playing for Russia at Worlds. Normal year , i would hate this move. This year i am all for it Sorry if this is being discussed elsewhere
  14. Rarely post anymore, but i am firmly in the 'tank" corner. Went to my first game of the season last night...fully expecting to root, root, root for the ....away team. But the douche quotient of the Habs fans all around me, starting on the train ride in and continuing all game along made me root harder for the Sabres than i have in 2 years. I truly have newfound respect for season ticket holders ...and maybe even some empathy now for Canes fans .
  15. has to be making your season ticket holders from the Southtowns miss two games...
  16. we had thundersnow in Richmond last year,,,at 51 that was the first time i had ever experienced it.Way cool.
  17. Survive is a good word LOL. The Turf saved me. I have always been a huge Motion fan, and with your pick on the other horse I hit that race fairly hard. Prolly put a tad to much in the Classic, but I was no where close. Even without a dog in the hunt, still think 7 should have come down.
  18. So ..bad news was rough day Good news only was able to see and bet last two races..." I didn't lose" Must mean crushing it today!
  19. i got the Sabres + 190 for $50 tonight..i think the good guys win this game by 3 goals tonight .
  20. Had clubhouse seats for that one, sister knew a guy who knew a guy, so had FREE seats :worthy:
  21. Thank you kind sir, greatly appreciated! Only been to one Breeders cup, way back in da day at Santa Anita. One of the first ones I believe. A 149-1 shot win the classic, French Horse. , I believe Cardmania win the Sprint. That was the opener, crushed the DD with him keyed. Agh, the days before wives and kiddies! Good luck all? And thank you again GoDD
  22. Mr. Ghost, It is now your duty as to keep your posting privileges on this board that you deliver a race by race breakdown of the Breeders Cup, delivered Friday by noon! :P Assume a $300 bankroll, and please help me crush the turf races :worthy: ! Seriously, greatly appreciate any help or insight, even if only a couple of key races that you see some value. As you now, i am always a big fan of your turf analysis.
