  1. He articulated the question in his trademark sh1t heel way, but, yeah - the point was correct. And KA seems to agree.
  2. Except I think KA agreed with Harrington.
  3. Interesting that Harrington lobbed a flaming bag of turd at KA - saying the players quit on Krueger and were an embarrassment - and Adams essentially agreed that that's what had happened.
  4. A meaningless observation maybe, but holy balls were the Devils just mugging people there at the end.
  5. One more thought: Trading O'Reilly and getting essentially nothing in return should place JBOT atop this list, but my belief is that the Pegulas forced that move.
  6. I went with GM TM for reasons stated upthread -- basically, that he had the most tools at his disposal, and failed the hardest as a result. That said, GM TM did acquire O'Reilly. That was good work. But, in the end, his failing grade is the most egregious, IMO. Oof. Never forget. And my money's on us hearing about him again, at some point. No smoke without fire, eh? This had been my sense as well. But my experience was based on interacting with him when he was "on" at team events. OTOH ... I have no basis to dispute this sort of thing.
  7. Appreciate that. You know how it is with Twitter. I dew-dropped in, and had no context. I’m stunned they re-signed Milano, for a few reasons.
  8. Does wawrow have it wrong? I saw him this week Tweeting a mea culpa regarding Matt Milano’s signing. I couldn’t tell if that was sincere or a joke (or a bit of both).
  9. KC had to cut both of their OT’s. So, every team is being made to feel pain. I don’t imagine Allen gets extended this offseason.
  10. Yeah - the historically abysmal goaltending is, to me, an underrated factor in this team's suckitude. I am curious: What do the #fancystats say about the quality of shots our goalies face? Or what those metrics would say about the extent to which our goalies save fewer shots than they reasonably should be expected to save?
  11. Late round? To stock the ECHL club? Sheeyit - these kinds of NHL players are commonly targeted in round 1 (maybe outside the top-5, but still).
  12. Dammit - first the lunch time rumour of a stake in the team being for sale (which turned into "they're looking for more help") - and now this jamoke is out there spreading false hopes.
  13. That timeline is more in line with players getting their bell rung, or eggs scrambled. YMMV more with concussions.
  14. I believe the quarantine is a function of the league's COVID protocols (?). Jack's going to Colorado for a matter not connected to team travel, so he's going to have to quarantine when he returns. At least, that's what I think is going on. I do not.
  15. Yeah - I'm picking up on that now. I had thought the idea was that it had just dropped.
  16. Welcome! And hey - I joined this board during the 2005-2007 runs when things were really good - you're getting in at or near a bottom. Things should only improve from here.
  17. How. Honestly - this is PSE's management of the Sabres in a nutshell. They operate in an echo chamber and are unaware of how bad their decisions are.
  18. GAH! I haven't seen that tool's Twitter content in quite a while. He blocked me when I called him out for being a d1ck about there being a fussy baby on his flight to the Carribean (and holy spit was he ever a d1ck about it). Anyway, I disagree that the Pegulas are anywhere near as problematic as the Texans' owners -- and they have a competent NFL franchise to prove it. Oh, and fook Nate Geary.
  19. Yeah, yeah. I know. Horizontal management structure, etc. I am hoping that the recent rumour of a stake of the team being for sale - or help being sought - is a sign that they're ready to take some steps back.
  20. I can't get there - I don't think they're even in the worst tier. They're probably towards the worst end of the second worst tier - lol. I've been hearing about the Houston Texans' debacles -- now that is bad ownership. I take some encouragement from the fact that the Pegulas have tried a bunch of different people to run the Sabres. Of course, none of them have worked out. At some point - at some point - they're going to hit on a winning arrangement. I mean - right? 😳
  21. Ha - another misplaced reply. They happen with some frequency!
