  1. Reinhart and ROR are not even close besides the number of goals they score they're completely different players.
  2. I've been saying this for years, it's part of why this team is what it is.
  3. As someone who's played at a high level, who gives a *****.
  4. My concern is which guy are you signing long term? The one here from two games ago.... Or the guy from last game who looked fully engaged in every aspect of the game?
  5. Reinhart was great today, he was engaged, winning pucks, winning faceoffs, back checking, seemed like he actually gave a damn.... might be the best game I've ever seen him play. That said, why does he only play like this once every dozen games or so?
  6. classic Reinhart from last game... sick edge work lol
  7. is a second dose really necessary? having such a strong reaction to the first dose after having COVID not too long ago... seems like a second dose is overkill.
  8. No. I don't want to see Eichel traded. His offensive output greatly outweighs his defensive liability. I would love to replace a soft 20 goal guy, who contributes nothing else, with a strong 15g guy who plays a 200ft physical game.
  9. or it could set them up for a playoff run if they're able to acquire a #1 goalie, top 6 C, top 3 W, high level prospect, etc.. WHO PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY
  10. severe drop off after Mittelstadt
  11. moderna fever, fatigue and body ache on par with the actual virus tylenol throughout the day slept 12hrs woke up feeling back to normal
  12. They've given up 80 shots and the past two games. UPL should get plenty of work.
  13. Had Covid 9 weeks ago. First shot Wednesday. Strong reaction for 36hrs, feel perfectly fine today.
  14. Their shooting % and save % have suffered the past few games, and with the underlying poor possession numbers, this is the result. They need a better coach. Period.
  15. What was Sam doing there? Oh that's right, spectating. Standing around watching the puck, Ritchie... Nick ***** Ritchie beats him with "speed" and all Sam can do is waive his stick at him. What a bum, I've had enough of him FFS.
  16. ..again, if Sam isn't scoring he's largely a liability. Has anybody ever seen him go into a wall battle and come out with the puck? His compete level is just too low, the young guys are working their tails off and he's mostly a spectator, smh.
  17. I question the timing... why vs BOS? They gave up 41 shots (18 high danger chances) last game.
  18. Cozens > Reinhart
  19. I was hoping to see improvement in team defense. Cut down on shots against and high danger chances. They're actually worse in both of those areas under Granato. They just don't play good team defense.... watching them it looks like they play man-to-man in the d-zone, but they seem afraid to leave their guy to close in on the puck. I want to see tighter gaps, more puck pressure, doubling and tripling up on guys and covering back instead of just being glued to a guy with your back to the puck.
  20. Sam has a career 37% FOW% (31% in the DZone). That ranks 348 out of 349 players to take at least 400 faceoffs since 2014 (DFL for DZFOW%). If you're around 45-50%, then it's not going to hurt you, but when you start dipping into the 30's, that can be impactful. There about 50-60 faceoffs/game, so for maybe 35-40 of those you're having to immediately defend instead of creating offense. That's not insignificant.
  21. Last night 6 of 8 winning teams also won more faceoffs. Winning face-offs alone won't win you a game, that's obvious.... but it's definitely part of the equation.
