    So nearly two full season into this thing, after it's crystal clear to everyone what GMTM is doing, it was this recent deadline and the shipping out of UFA's that everyeone expected or a player who clearly had no future here that has raised your anxiety and frustration to a new level? Would sitting where say Toronto or Carolina are right now, out of the shart race have been worth it? Because that's the absolute ceiling of what could have been done with the team this year.

    Geez man show some backbone will ya? At least in the CHL thread. If you go to the Edmonton and Arizona boards they have their chicken littles crying the same thing. We are gunning for the shart with all we've got, relax and let the chips fall where they may... As far as next season I don't know of a single poster or media member who thinks the losing on purpose continues next year no matter where we end up picking in the 2015 draft.

    Interesting, I'll have to check that out. There has been a lot of breakthroughs in recent years with cancer therapies using vectors that deliver their therapeutic payload in a targeted fashion to just the cancerous cells. I worked on a project a few years back around Herceptin, this was one of the first targeted therapies for a specific type of breast cancer.

    GMTM won today because our tank success factor improved dramatically. Accomplishing that goal carries the day on it's own. Any inability on his part to squeeze extra value out of UFA's who had little value to begin with is merely background noise.

    Could very well be, I think it's a reasonable projection that the Sabres are a playoff bubble team in 2016-17. As a bubble team if they miss the playoffs then they are a lottery team again. As to the bolded I'll start with Kane and Reinhart.

    Yeah I meant 2017 deadline. Next year we are a lottery team again.

    That 2017 2nd rounder might come in handy say at the 2016 2017 deadline when we might be a bubble team challenging for a playoff spot.... edit: meant 2017 deadline, in 2016 even though it's a tankless season, this team is once again a dead cinch lock as a lottery team IMO.

    The rumbling and gurgling from GMTM's bowels can be heard CHL wide at this moment. A prelude to the massive power dump soon to be unleashed, one of those rare varieites so impressive in it's volume, shape and stench that one must pause to admire it before flushing it away.

    The race for shart is going to go right down to the wire and I never expected it to go any other way. Eschew the typical Buffalo fan fatalistic nonsense and believe in GMTM to steer us on the proper course. It's nitty gritty time boys. #becauseitstheshart

    Better late than never to join the party! This team had not a snowballs chance in hell of sniffing the playoffs from the start of last season. Therefore, IMO winning has served zero purpose in terms of moving this franchise forward since that time.

    I've gone on record many times stating that McEichel isn't the only way, I do however believe it always was and continues to be the best course of action. We're almost there...

    I agree 100% and don't begrudge anyone enjoying wins if they so choose, but at this point with 20 games left in a lost season its undeniable that Sabre wins are detrimental to their long term success.
