I think this is bunk... and if it isnt its window dressing... promoting people like Appert and Keko internally, not doing a search, and not bringing in a trusted, tenured, respected Hockey mind that might start to break down our inability to trade for players because of NMCs as well as attract Free Agents... I also dont think another incestuous internal promotional escapade with KA getting promoted to POHO is going to retain players that we want to stay... if they blow this one... people are gonna want out...

I would say this... we are 2nd last in the league at GA and lower half in goals for... I also think one is a function of the other... constantly down trying to score playing less defense, giving up empty net goals... and getting a few goals for because we threw away defense... to me both sides are not good enough, the entire team doesnt play the right way, and if you ask me what our biggest problem is, its neither... its the softest, most uninspired, lazy, stupid playmaking defensman I have ever seen assembled (save Dahlin)

I was simply stating that under Adams the coaches that we have brought on board have been less than accomplished to the point that they are no longer coaching... Now if you are asking me which of the four I would chose to be our head coach and I needed to pick from 1 of the 4 I would pick Granato... Ruff just doesnt have them and probably cant communicate with them.... Kruger was a farce, Housley lost them when he railed them about getting to the "dirty places on the ice" as he hid under the bench his whole career trying to avoid them... Granato at least seemed to have their attention...

For those of you clamoring for Don Granato or another Sabres coach... lets examine what the league thinks of them Granato - not employed in the NHL, nor as a coach anywhere he does part time analysis on Sirius XM Housley - Not in the NHL or in coaching Kreuger - nothing listed for current employment Bottom line, not one recent coach even has a job in the NHL anymore... Granato and Kruger didnt even get a look, Housley was fired twice as an assistant in a few years and is out of the league... Ruff is clearly not all that and I believe when he is fired the inevitable will be he is out of the NHL as well... this is not a referendum on these men... but it is an observation that NHL execs certainly are not clamoring to give these guys a job... like any job... Ruff in his day was very good... but he is out of touch I believe and just looks plain old tired... like I cant fix this... please fire me soon... Bottom line Adams coaching hires (or Pegula's I am not sure) are uninspired, lack competence and are clearly not in demand for literally any job in this league... Is Muckler still alive? I know Scottie lives in Williamsville still on the transit Valley golf course... maybe he can coach via zoom call like we do our scouting...

Its a quandry, bring the young players into this cesspool of lazy inept ankle grabbing and teach them how to lose and be happy about it... or insulate them from this garbage in the AHL so hopefully Adams does not destroy their careers.. I guess if I am to choose, you gotta bring em up... because I am not convinced that anything meaningful changes in this FO... so we might as well begin to destroy their careers from the get go then trade them so they can go elsewhere and hopefully be young enough to rehabilitate their careers... Agreed the fact that Buffalo still supports the team despite Terry Pegulas relentless focus on ensuring ineptitude and wildly succeeding loke no other franchise in history has for this amount of time ... well mostly... demonstrates the viability of this market if they didnt move coming out of Bankruptcy after Rigas. Yeah here is the thing even if Dopey does fire Adams he won't do the right thing and hire an NHL exec with creds. He is just gonna promote from within his same incestuous cesspool of abject incompetence in hopes to achieve the same loser result .
