Many are still making it ALL about the Goalie when the team hasn't played D in most every game this year.

Krebs should be with Skinner and Tuch while Tage is out. . JMO.

Any questions about Goalie, outside of Levi ? -
-
I'll watch and observe his ability and progress. I saw him in person twice at prospects camp and he stood out. Listening to the present day dart throwers means nothing to me. Chirp away.
-
Well he certainly looked like a future Sabre. I like how he kept moving around the net and had quick reactions to everything. Read he always hustled in Rochester. Sabres can use players of his ilk.
-
Still having some no move moments in front of our own net. Comrie bailed them out.

I was just reading this article over the weekend which mentioned Levi and Jake L. . https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/future-considerations-college-free-agents-to-watch-and-what-levi-brings-to-sabres/

I have ZERO issues with it. Doesn't change my view of him either way. Can't walk in his shoes.

They do remind one of the NJ teams from a few years back. It worked for them but it seemed every game was 1-0 or 2-1. Those styles have to be near perfect to work with no mistakes. They don't have the NJ talent to do that. -

Can't knock Comrie. 26 save shutout. Several big saves. The team played good D for the first time in forever. Nice back to back wins. -
Agreed. Then they take it one step further with public shaming towards anyone that doesn't conform. Why report when you can Op/Ed from the pulpit. Yeah...that just screams sports. Sigh...
-
When it stirs issues, then it seems so forced and insincere. I know it's a PC world these days but sports is an escape from politics. I have zero issues with it myself, belonging to a UCC church that likes everything that moves without predjudice. Yet I can't act surprised when someone objects to wearing the jersey.

Hats off to both guys for their service to the team... but it is time. One must find room for some new blood on the roster next season. -

Dear God. Why is #71 out there ? For his D ? -

Disagree. This team doesn't play D and has multiple issues to solve in order to be a 95-100 point team. It's not one or two players solves all. -
No choice. Jets and Fins have tons of speed now at WR, RB. Don't know about the Cheaters (Pats) Diggs is no slouch but speed started to improve last year with drafting Cook (4.40). Then Hines (4.35) arrives. Now Harty (4.35) and Sherfield (4.46). Now the key is for Dorsey to find these guys opportunities to get the ball and run. Cuts down on Josh playing hero ball.

All these young guys are still physically growing. Need to get stronger and realize they'll have a bullseye on their jersey the second they get promoted to the NHL. Vets will run them until they can't. When they're ready, regardless of age. Glad we have forwards in the pipeline. Need some grizzled vets who actually play D to cure our current woes.
