Diggs started dropping balls on a regular basis the 2nd half of the season. That was surprising. This whole mercurial act is getting old. While the D needs the most overall help, the O needs WR's with hands. At least 2 more. If some team wants him for a pick, move him. He may be near the end of his good overall play and he has a heavy cap hit. If not, shut up and focus.

Buffalo Buzzwords Youβre Tired of Hearing

Bills "Mafia" -
Bills do need 2-3 more receiving options with a few leaving. Diggs and Shakir with our 2 TE's return. Unless they make some hard cap decisions, the draft will be their main avenue for adding talent everywhere. At least 2 more WR's at some point.

Caring starts at the top. TP is still dependent on others to change the rolls of TP (ironic) in the head. His wife is too ill for him to notice much of anything these days. Now in his 70's, he may be thinking of selling his sports teams or figuring out how to pass it on to his kids without some insane tax. Meanwhile, he lets Beane run the Bills. Prays KA knows what he is doing with the Sabres, even though the toilet seems to be backed up most days with clogs that cannot be cleared. His call list for plumbers seems to be limited to 1. Keeps extending people blindly which blocks any change. That allows KA to keep handing out healthy contracts to many who really haven't earned it and telling us it's sunny while it storms outside. . The result is production and healthy availability suddenly gets cut in half but the pay is still great ! What incentive ? I'm tired.. They really need someone with GM experience to start flipping this roster. Talent has to leave to acquire talent that produces better results. Not like those suggestions in the trade scenario threads where posters here see the Sabres receiving all-stars for VO, Jost and Krebs. Stop. The suckers are us. Not other teams GM's. KA has a long term plan where saying " we're close ! " has no expiration date. My date passed years ago with the acceptance of NHL also-ran. 1 person holds the key...and he's bunkered down in Boca. How to flush him out to do something is the issue. Not even large sections of empty seats seems to move him these days. Extended vacations do nothing for the fans.

Since this organizational rest started this past summer, is this still technically a vacation or more of a Leave of Absence ?

I'm sensing a promotion to Buffalo is coming with the Quinn injury. He would be placed on a scoring line, which makes total sense.

You could have posted an empty box as an alternative and it would win in a landslide. No

Why ? Oh wait...here comes KA..

The thread starter showed the lack of scoring as the #1 issue this year. Too many regressions from last season all over the roster. Bad power play.Opponents have scored 8 shorthanded goals against Buffalo, tied for most in the NHL. Poor puck handling. D play still needs a lot of work. Not a physical team. Giveaways are all too common. The only real improvement to me is UPL. 46 games and only 44 points means another year of watching other teams in the playoffs.

I don't think Pegula will make changes to GM or HC. . He just extended the McBean team this past year. Talking about it isn't wrong but it seems like a waste of time with no possibility , at present. So call better plays. Get better players.

Disappointing. I cannot say frustrated since my thinking entering the game was the Defense was too banged up to stop #15. Yet to keep it close and lose yet another close game is something Bills fans have seen far too often. Late game hope and then defeat. Happy they rallied at the end of the year after so many bad losses but the gas tank ran dry. I get they beat KC earlier but to me, that was more of KC playing poorly. They converted their opportunities Sunday, unlike earlier. The Bills did not with such a small margin for error. Drops, ST play and suspect play calling did them in. Too many low percentage play calls. Allen needs more skill players around him. Kincaid and Shakir are a good start but they need more players that can secure the ball when Allen delivers it. Diggs didn't play up to his contract in the last month. UFA Davis and his suspect hands are gone. Backups did nothing. Cook ran well but catching the ball and ball security needs improvement. Beane has to perform some cap magic with several bloated contracts on the books... but may be unable to. I believe they are stuck with most of them for another year. They went for it and failed. So the draft and some better coaching may be the only solution. We'll see how the roster looks come summer. I saw them win the AFL title twice as a kid. As I get closer to the graveyard, my time to see another deep run and a possible title looks dim. Much like the Sabres who won nothing but I saw the Bisons win AHL titles. Thankfully, my memory is still intact. Not watching any sports channels today. Blathering on about failure isn't my bag. Don't wish to hear any hot (dumb) takes. I'll watch some of the college all-star games and practices next week. Watch the draft in April. Hope for the best. Hope is all we got.
