I'll always care about the Bills and Sabres. I am grateful that this small market still has 2 major sports teams. Years ago, I thought Buffalo would have the Bandits and minor league baseball only by this time. Pegula stepped up. However, he's completely dependent on others telling him what to do with both franchises. His Sabres hires really haven't been much more that rebuilding from the basement. His hiring of Beane/McDermott for the Bills finally sent them in a good direction but it's now a question whether they are stuck in park and may have peaked. Sabres have no grit. Soft. They are easily bullied and cannot respond. Roster makeup error. Meanwhile, Adams hands out these standard 7 year 50 mil contracts (more or less) to players that haven't earned them yet because he fears losing them. They need someone to coach them hard and show results in order to justify those premature deals. But the owner is invisable for whatever reason.

On a side note, the Bills current weakness is the 2nd half D and that's on McDermott. If anyone saw his post game after the Eagles loss, he was passing over Commenting on the D issues and instead pointed out some missed chances on O. Just shook my head. Wouldn't own it. Brady is calling a good O with quick short passes to Kincaid, Shakir and the RB's. Sets up some long shots by moving those deep safties up. His LSU O with Burrow, Chase and Jefferson was something to watch 4 years back. Glad they gave him a shot. Beane better find some Secondary help and have his buddy change schemes or continue to fail. May be too late this year.

It doesn't and I'm not defending him. Just curious why it happened all this time later. They can fire him for all I care.

Retirement is awesome. Last worked November 2017. Our house was paid off years ago and we flirted with the idea of a new home or a vacation condo down south at one time . I'm so happy we passed on that decision and stayed put. Financial freedom is awesome. Wife still teaching and will retire when she feels like it.
