  1. and missed 27 games with Rochester the year before that. I get it. Rooting for him but that's 2 out of 3 years missing a chunk of games with 3 + injuries.
  2. So I'm reading and looking at the TV a bit while watching the HOF game. Why call the action when you can prattle on about Aaron Freakin' Rodgers and nauseum. Enough already..
  3. Until Quiinn and Muel can show they can stay healthy, it's hard to depend on them for the long haul. Hope it changes.
  4. D has to show something and S is already short. Glad they found a couple older Vets that have played a lot to fill in. Still.. O ? The winning streak of 6 was Cook, Kincaid and Shakir getting the ball over our departed WR's. They are still here. Coleman shouldn't be rushed but the red zone looks should go his way with his ability to win in contested situations. I like that they are working heavily in the red zone situations in camp. They need 1 more WR to step forward. Brady was a big improvement in the play calling. I'll just watch with seeing if the D can respond with a pass rush and improvement in stopping the run. I make no predictions with injuries always being key. Hyde and Poyer were hurt a lot near the end. Change was coming regardless and all teams share that issue. We'll see.
  5. D is my focus. 2 new players at S and already injury concerns.
  6. Child labor laws. Give it time.
  7. How goes it with your new child ? Adopted 2 girls as babies myself. One is now a nurse. The other is in the Carpenters union. God bless for doing that.
  8. In other news, Tua gets 53 Mil a year for 4 years from the Fins. Brittle investment and eats up the cap. Good.
  9. Yes We can be paranoid yearly about the Goalies. Can reset if needed each off-season.
  10. Whatever. He's here. State your position pro or con and quit repeating oneself like a hiccup.
  11. I see your point but that is going back a few years, when most 18 year olds need developmental time. Sabres had a ton of picks and waiting rime has run out. The so called pipeline has more players than anyone but at what actual talent level ? Trading picks and young prospects for players with an actual NHL resume is needed to get the Sabres out of the drought now. Tired of projecting with little to show.
  12. Can't wait to see the 10 minute video when the new garbage totes arrive. 🤘
  13. In the last month, Hockey News had Sabres interested in 20 different players. Check the archive. I guess if you throw enough dung at the wall..
  14. UPL bridge deal would cost what ?
  15. I just walk a lot. Had a stent put in 3 years ago and I'm also old. Bad back. I still went to a festival with my cane yesterday and walked for 2 hours. Have to push oneself.
  16. In the spirit of politics today..
  17. Caps were bad but got in to the playoffs because they got to OT far more often to get that 1 point. Sabres were busy flunking the first period and playing from behind most games. No need to visit Baker Street. Our so called stars all slumped. Bounce back with Ruff pushing them ? We can only watch and hope.
  18. Agreed and they made that effort to finally change that. I started to worry that KO and Girgs would be here yet another year beyond their usefulness. Nothing personal but they should have been moved out long ago. Reminds me of the Bills during the drought when I became convinced the Bills would keep signing average Chris Kelsay to 1 year deals for the next 25 years. " We like him ". Great....go adopt a dog...
  19. A good marinade and some garlic...
  20. this Open has one of the hardest back 9's I've ever seen. Watching many implode.
  21. Nice read. Glad to see our newbies can fly. Hope they can make a difference.
  22. In the nosebleed orange seats, you looked straight down and watched the game between your knees.
  23. Sounds like more of an indifference ranking. "Don't hate them" means you get a better ranking.
  24. Ideal but overblown.
