If Boychuck is LTIR, how does that help the Sabres? i thought LTIR salaries don’t count against the cap?

I will be interested to see John’s first presser as a former Sabre.

I was very adamant over the last few months that the Sabres were not getting a high end prospect(Byfield, Zegras, Krebs, etc…) in a trade package for John. I WAS WRONG.

Any chance it was glossed over, and Dunleavy was included in the deal? 😈

Considering Krebs had never hit the 20 goal mark in juniors, I am guessing he is more of a playmaking center? Hopefully meshes well with some of the young prospects on the wing that are on the way.

I’m assuming next season they will be back to Cup contender and pick ends up 25 or lower. My best case scenario, injury riddled Vegas sneaks into the playoffs this season, gets run in the 1st round, and we end up with a pick between 17-20.
