Depending on how bad the Sabres goatending is over the last 3/4 of the season, I can see any of the teams below them, capable of passing them.

I don't think Joker is the long term answer as a partner for Dahlin. In the off-season, I'd like to see KA bring in an experienced vet to fill that role.

Therefore, that is where the bar should be set?

Lets start talking about fixing the goaltending next summer, because anything short of a Christmas miracle, the Sabres #1 and #2 goalies for 21-22 are not on the roster or organization currently. This will be summer #3 for KA to address this shortcoming.

Allen has definitely regressed from last year(despite having some fine games this year). Let’s hope it is just a blip on the radar.

The interior OL needs to be blown up in the off-season. Morse is a finesse center whose supposed strength is pass blocking, but his entire tenure as a Bill has been mediocre at best, and the guard spots are just a disaster. Feliciano should have been replaced in the off-season, and instead was signed to a new 3 year deal, and the rest of the guards are terrible. Day 1/2 picks need to be used to address this.

Is Seth Appert in over his head? All I know about him is he had a below .500 10 year run at RPI.

Very disappointing loss. Not sure which was worse…Play of Josh Allen, or the bad investment’s Beane has made in the DL, both draft picks and F/A signings. That was a home game they desperately needed, and they stink, stank, stunk. 😡

Part of the problem is the GM’s approach to the goaltending situation in the off-season. One part of his solution was signing a 40 year old goalie. Go figure…he breaks down in the 1st month of the season, and now the trickle down effects both teams goaltending. On paper, it looks like Adams did the best he could with shipping out the old core this offseason, but this is two years running he has $hit the bed in terms of goaltending within the organization.

What we really need is a thread for super fans(at least in their own minds) who can be judge, jury and executioner, and who will decide when the Sabres should be criticized and when they should not.

Just checked Florida Panthers tix for next Wednesday against the Flyers. Tickets from the box office all over their upper bowl for $45.

If this was a competitive team, I would be willing to pay $40-50 for the “worst” seats in the arena. I am talking upper reaches of 300 level where Sabres only shoot once. Throw in parking and food and drink, and it is still $100 minimum. Keep in mind prices go up quickly in the better sections of the 300 level, and a lot more in 100 and 200 levels

For the product on the ice? The worst seats in the house starting at $58. Yeah..I’m bitching. 😂

Have you looked at the dynamic pricing scheme? It is a kick in the nuts to the fans who supported the team during the Pegula era of futility. If you are okay with it, then good for you. I’m not. They took more than enough of my money with little bang for my buck. As far as my hunch about selling the team, seeing how they still own the Bills, I would think if they do decide to sell, they would want to spin it in a way that does not make them seem like terrible owners…which they have been

I can see that. It’s just the notion of sticking it up the a$$ of the fanbase just because a game is on a certain day of the week. I’ve got a feeling that these feeble attendance numbers are going to be their justification for selling the team within the next two years
