I know I will be viewed as a dinosaur and wanting something that is gone from the game, but it is a big part of why I am "losing my love" for the game. Just to be clear, I am not asking for bench clearing brawls, or even line brawls, but a fight between two players should be ok and a regular part of the game(remove the instigator penalty). Also, and this is magnified by the play of the Sabres particularly, what has happened to body checking? Anyone who has ever been to an NHL game, can't tell me that other than a goal, two of the most exciting plays in a game, are a bone crushing body check or a fight.

The Sabres are roughly $20 mil under the cap. Attendance is poor. Spend more(on players) to make more(wins = higher attendance). Clearly there is a line drawn in the sand as to how much KA can spend. The days of "If I need more money, I will drill another well" are over. So where do they go from here?

On either the 4th or 5th goal while killing a penalty, Bryson and Pilut allowed a player to skate in home free from the blueline and score. These guys should barely be on the ice, let alone on the PK. They both suck.

Most goals since 2/19. WTF kind of stat is that? Combining two seasons together?

What about prospects 2-3 years away? Must not block!! 😂

Experience needed in the coaching ranks, on the blueline, in the forward ranks…everywhere. They are terrible.

I don’t care where the prospect pool is ranked, if this team is not in the playoffs by the end of next season(23-24), Adams should be fired. I have beat this to death, but half of the friggin’ teams make the playoffs every year…IT SHOULDN’T BE THIS DIFFICULT.

Is Pilut still with Buffalo? In my limited views, all he has shown is that he is not an NHL defenseman.

Josh needs to know when hero ball(Favre 2.0) is okay, and when it is not. If he can’t elevate his game in this regard, can you imagine yesterday happening in a SB? If not, he will be an exciting player that over his career will win you many games, and lose games that should have been wins.

Prospects are nothing guaranteed until they can be key pieces of a playoff team. Edmonton over the last decade is the perfect example.
