I prefer a sweet pizza sauce versus spicy, and don’t like a pizza that has so much sauce that one bite leads to all the toppings coming off. If it meets that criteria, I will eat just about any pizza, chain or local. If you are a fan of breakfast pizza, Tops is very good. ...and Ferro’s in West Seneca makes a really good thin crust pizza. I believe the owners are the same people who ran Gino and Joe’s downtown forever. On a related note, I’ve been retired for 5+ years, and not even sure if Gino and Joe’s is still open in the Main Place Mall.

I guess bringing up Melnyk will always make the Pegula's seem like decent owners. That is setting the bar pretty low.

I have become indifferent to everything about this team, from the owners, to the FO, to the coaches and the players, and have taken a wait and see approach to the off-season. That being said, even if Eichel, Reinhart, and Risto are all dealt, the playoffs should not be more than 2 years away if you have competent people in place at all levels. 10 year drought if Eichel is traded? That is laughable....and I know you tossed a "maybe" in at the end of your post. I stand firm...the best thing that could happen in the off-season, is if the Pegula's sold the team. They are an embarrassment to the NHL head honchos and their fellow owners....and any short term success they have had with the Bills means nothing when looking at what they have done to the Sabres franchise. Fan interest is at an all-time low.

Plop this decade of Pegula owned Sabres hockey in any other city, and the fanbase would be as angry/critical, if not worse.

What if Jack has asked for a trade, and an agreement has been made by agent, Jack, KA and Pegula to keep it out of the media, and deny request has been made? My point...don’t necessarily believe KA when he says Jack has not asked to be traded.

If this offer was made after the 19-20 season maybe the Kings would bite. Now? No way you are getting that return for a broken and disgruntled Eichel.

This thread has run its course. The original question was comparing an off-season where Eichel and Reinhart are traded to the off-season Richards and Carter were traded.

Actions speak louder than words. Today will be a lot of tap dancing. What Adams does over the next 3-4 months will be much more important.
