Didn't realize Kuemper is a UFA after the season. Avs just resigned Francouz. He would be my number one target. Sabres could overpay for him on a 2 year deal. Would bring a ton of stability to the net. And the Sabres aren't that far of. The idea that a UFA wouldn't come here doesn't hold water to me. A few moves this offseason and they can be a competitive team next season.

I think Joker is a young developing dman. Where he fits moving forward will be determined by who else Adams brings in on the right side. I mean there is a whole argument with charts and graphs. Do all the top players in the league have the top charts? Would you draft a player based solely on his chart if it was higher then a couple other players you like better? Charts can be useful but we can’t use it to solely determine someone’s play or value.

Another top 15 pick via Vegas would be icing on the cake.

I think 2 reasons: 1) A lot of teams are still in it so not as many sellers. 2) most teams have little if any cap space making deals much harder

There was nothing wrong with Murray’s plan. It was the execution that hurt the team. He brought in the wrong types of players and it continued to tank the team. The Sabres have enough young capital that moving a prospect or pick for the RIGHT player is not a problem at all. The Sabres need to move forward this offseason. A couple key signings (they need to spend to get to the floor) a key trade that will help support the kids would go a long way. starting goalie and top 4 RHD should be the focus

Rochester are teetering on not being in a playoff spot. If the Amerks miss the playoffs then that is a disaster for this franchise and the "development plan". This offseason has to be committed to pushing this entire organization forward to being competitive for both the players and fans sakes.

Interesting name. What are his defensive metrics like? I feel Power will need a partner who is strong in his own end. Klingberg will demand a ton in FA so I only see it as worthwhile if he is good defensively.
