  1. They are imperfect players but useful to the team. Is Mitts the leading faceoff guy on the team? Who are they replacing these two with who are going to produce more? One guy Inwould love to see them look at if Vancouver are making changes is Horvat. One of the best faceoff guys in the league and a centre that goes to the net. 6 goals on the year. They don’t know if they can extend him after the Miller deal and there are some issues in that room so Horvat might be a guy that becomes available. Edit: Friedman reports that Horvat is available. Colour Me Interested.
  2. In a few weeks we are going to see Bruins-Sabres Sat. Vikings-Bills Sunday. Great weekend. Since they are One Buffalo you think they would setup some weekend deals when both play at home.
  3. Both are producing well to start the season. They might not play the style some prefer but both will have career years if they keep it up.
  4. So far it seems that NYR and Bruins are units and the rest of the East is wide open. Sabres are young, the D injuries are concerning but if they can develop they should be in the mix with a bunch of teams this season.
  5. The season started while he was playing preseason games for Buffalo.
  6. I think it might be bedtime. This is an off night for sure. Leaving Comrie our to dry. Some nights it just doesn’t work.
  7. Grubauer is on IR. I don’t even know who there backup is. I hope Borgen score 4 goals tonight and plays 45 minutes so this ridiculous expansion draft narrative can continue.😀
  8. You mean Zappemania and Zappe is he next Brady takes are dead?😀
  9. I was just joking around. We don’t even know the exact injury yet but I’m sure he will be out until he is healthy.
  10. Joker you know what you have to do.😀
  11. Fantilli is a 6’2 centre who has 15 points in 6 games as a freshman at Michigan. Teams will be running to the podium to pick him #2 if he keeps it up.
  12. I disagree. Fantilli is destroying the NCAA. A big fast centre and you don’t have to wait 3 years+ for him to impact your team. If the big Swedish centre continues to develop too there will be some major debates at #2. Franchise centres always trump wingers.
  13. Philly shutout at home by SJ. I can imagine Torts will be a treat at practice.
  14. Gibson has looked brutal for the Ducks. and 3 things you can guarantee in life: Death, Taxes and Mrazek Being Place on IR with a groin injury.
  15. How awful is Tom Brady’s life right now? Thoughts and Prayers Tawmy😁
  16. I would just love to know what was going through Granato’s mind as he sat on that Krueger coaching staff.
  17. Because I didn’t know which thread to put it in. Please move it to where you see fit.
  18. Bryson and Fitz aren’t ideal as a pair but they are far from the worst 3rd pairing in the league.
  19. People have searched twitter and this was never said by anyone. Hamilton trying to push his personal narrative as a factual report. I’m done with this clown. He needs to go like yesterday.
  20. This team is fun. Dahlin has taken the step to elite player. A lot of people have said this before but Mitts is the key for this team. If he can continue to play well and form a third line that can consistently contribute then this team can really go places. Hope it isn’t too bad for Muel. I thought Bryson and Fitzy played well. I love Boosh’s game.
  21. Rasmus, Rasmus and Victor
  22. The Drive Thru crew on TSN today were all praising the Sabres today. Talking about Dahlin and the young dmen and how Tage and Tuch are monsters and all the young talent they have. The main reason they need to keep Tage and Tuch together is because they are such a matchup mismatch. Like Lindros and Leclair. Their size, speed, skill combination causes nightmares for teams. Then you come back with the pure speed and skill of Hinny Cozens JJ and you cause headaches for other teams to defend against.
  23. You are right. I think it has just become my pet peeve following the draft closely for so long that all they ever focus on with every dman is “puck moving” like it is the only tool they need for the position. Lazy analysis more then anything.
  24. I would keep the same lineup in Vancouver. If they lose then shake it up and put Quinn in for Seattle.
  25. Competent yes but it doesn’t define them. Every dman drafted these days is “a puck moving dman”. Guys like Tanev and Weegar that excel at the defensive end either don’t get drafted or are late picks because they are deemed not elite puck movers. The teams that win need the strong defensive presence but no one wants to focus on it in the draft.
