  1. I'm considering wearing a bag over my head to Thursdays game...and not just because I'm ugly
  2. OK, I'll stir the pot.....For all you Pilut lovers out there....nice job on the PK from #24 with Tkachuk standing in front of his goalie. What a 98 lb waste of space!
  3. The Sabres are killing me but.....I am enjoying the Maple Laffs struggles, after tonight’s play they are not in a playoff position....
  4. Hmmmm....there is a player out there who is very good at face offs....what’s his name again? I think he plays for the St Louis Blues.....
  5. This team is deserving of their 11th - 12th place standing in the conference. I’m bored with their crap hockey and inconsistency. I’m still of the opinion that this season was a lost cause before it started. J Bott and Co. knew it and did little about ( really couldn’t do anything about it). I can’t believe the people that were fooled by the fast start. I also have to laugh at Ray, Duffer and Marty and their “analysis” and occasional cheerleading. It’s comical. I know they work for the Sabres but “geez guys” would it kill you to go off a little once in awhile? I’m dreading going to the arena for 8 games in Feb and 8 games in March/April
  6. Dunleavy is the worst. I can’t listen to him, he is every bit as bad as this Sabres team is
  7. Same old Sabres. You can’t win if you don’t score. It’s a futile effort most nights. The little mistakes and the breaks that go against you are so magnified when you team does not have any consistent offensive ability. Wake me up next October
  8. The aroma of a turkey roasting in the oven.
  9. Welcome, I'm new to this forum and I wish you all the best. Life is too short and I'm glad you're in a better place, I look forward to discussing Sabres hockey with you. I think we have plenty of issues with the Sabres to keep us busy for a looooooonnnnggg time.
  10. Couldn't agree more on Pilut. I don't understand the fascination some have with Pilut. Often he gets pushed around like a 98 lb weakling, he's just not an NHL defenseman.
  11. I'm on the trade Sam Reinhart train. He does nothing for me, soft play, rarely scores a significant goal. Twice last night he was all alone in front of net with oodles of time and can't put it in. Reinhart is not worth the money he is going to want. He may be one of a few players on our squad other teams are interested in. I'm convinced he's a dud for the Buffalo Sabres, he may succeed somewhere else but not here mostly because he does not live up to the expectations of living up to where he was drafted. Look no further than the Edmonton players of the same ilk.
  12. Right on the money as far as the Bills are concerned. I'm enjoying the ride as well but its an unfinished project. They are two good drafts away, 2-3 quality free agent pick ups (because they will lose players as well) and a fairly large improvement in the QB before we can say they are a consistent winner that can go deep into playoffs.
  13. I agree, we opened a 4-1 lead after the altercation, and lets face it. Sergachev was challenged to a fight he didn't have time to think of the ramifications.
  14. Well, it fits the narrative but we lost because we suck, no matter what we do. We do need the toughness, whether its manufactured or not. Tampa was misfiring in the first period, should have had at least 2 goals, this could have been a 10 goal game if they were "on" tonight. But not taking their Sh*t is a big deal and we failed at that too
  15. I can see both sides of the fighting/toughness argument 1) We need to.be tougher/ more physical AS A TEAM and on a consistent basis, it means nothing if you don't do it consistently 2) Taking bad penalties will only hurt us 3) Getting even does matter, Psychologically. I'm sorry, anybody who has played any contact sport knows why. Its in your DNA, if not you're a loser and you don't belong out there.Look no further than our last two opponents for a frame of reference
  16. I gave my tickets away tonight, Thursday and contemplating giving away Saturdays. I have no desire to watch this cr** in person.
  17. Agreed. This bunch of pansies aren't going to generate that toughness that "arises"
  18. OMG the rationalization and excuses from the locker room, Ugh!!!
  19. How does Pegula take this without blowing a cerebral artery? I mean, he's a fan, we know it, he also happens to be the owner. If it were Pegula, Botterill wouldn't have a place to hide if I was in the building.
  20. Watching Eichel get interviewed is painful, he really just wants to scream.
  21. Honestly, this is not a playoff team, let em sink...er...tank...er whatever ? DO I HEAR PHIL HOUSELY AND DISCO DAN LAUGHING?
  22. As for Pegula: he can't be bothered right now because of the Bills....but WHAT IS IT GOING TAKE TO GET SOME REACTION FROM THE FRONT OFFICE
