I feel that Hall is a "dime a dozen" player. Past history is useless in describing him. He is what you see now. He may prove useful for a playoff run on a team that has very talented others around him. GM's that are in contention for the cup often pick up players with the high hopes that it will be a home run acquisition. I don't think he gets us much in return, maybe a small reward? We got him as a free agent therefore "easy come, easy go".....just go away quickly......

Theoretically... Hall provides more offense......but not on this planet.

As a kid back in the 70's.... I always looked forward to the Sabres playing the Washington Capitals, California Golden Seals, Atlanta Flames, Kansas City Scouts, Colorado Rockies, & Cleveland Barons because the Sabres would win big. But after watching the games, I would often pity those opponents thinking how bad it would be to lose like that.......NOW, I REALLY KNOW WHAT THAT IS LIKE..... Its also interesting to note....Of those teams only the Capitals didn't relocate

I don't see how you can fix a defenseman that is poor in 1v1 battles. If he can't poke check it away he's not getting the puck. He doesn't like to play the body. He would be a defensive liability on a good team.
