I noticed that sometimes the Bandits' defencive discipline broke down in Buffalo. Colorado took advantage of those lapses tonight. One thing that worried me in game 1 was that although Buffalo had the advantage in possession for much of the game, Colorado's shots were more dangerous overall. We saw that tonight again.

The problems start with the Knoxes backing Scotty Bowman over Rick Martin. The team used jersey retirements to make up with players the franchise had wronged. Thus, the bar is very low. For myself, the only numbers I would have retired are 2, 11, and 39.
