  4. Our O line is an official national disaster your Rex love is admirable.
  5. Yikes... there has to be something better to do today,,,
  6. The fact that the Jets are a much improved team is pretty telling...
  7. Why did they just punt there?
  8. But our system is rigged against them. If you don't poll in the early primaries, you can't get matching funds..
  9. jeez, D didn't look good on that drive
  10. Doah!!! I meant Arkansas.. How did I type Illinois?
  11. I think ROR, SR and JE should have been the choices. I agree.. I am so down on Ennis I would have picked Linus ahead of him.
  12. The case for HRC from an anti-Clintonite... When HRC ran eight years ago, I felt she did not have the resume to be President. Prior to her run, her resume consisted of lawyer, married to governor of Illinois, married to President of US and US Senator from NYS (a job she definitely carpet bagged for and got do to the incompetence of the NYS GOP to run a real candidate against her). She served a pretty unremarkable and forgettable term as US Senator even though she was given plumb committees regardless of her junior seniority status. I felt then that she did not have any leadership positions and her foreign affairs experience was limited to all the free trips she got to make on AF One as First Lady. Eight years later, she adds a not so insignificant line to her resume in Secretary of State (SoS). She buried her pride and went to work for her campaign nemesis; the man that derailed her coronation. Whether you like or hate the job she did as SoS, she did it and in doing so checked an important box from this voters point of view, experience in real world decision making on foreign affairs. It is one thing to say what you would do, it is another to actually go do it. When I compare her to her party competition and when I compare her to the GOP challengers, I conclude she will win this thing in a cake walk over Trump. Trump is keeping himself in front and running the most unconventional campaign in American political history. If he some how managed to win, it would forever change the dynamic of how people run for President. But, that won't happen. If it comes down to him and HRC, the Democratic attack on his character would be 24/7 and would eventually draw people away from him. The closer this gets to serious, the harder it will get for him to behave the way he has and win. Although Putin likes him, so he has that going for him. She will win against Rubio, but her demographics would be much tougher if he could challenge her for votes in the Black and Hispanic communities. Rubio is buried too far down behind his competitors for us to see him actually compete against HRC. Rubio is a casualty of the Trump campaign. She will win against Cruz, but for the same reasons, he will make it harder for her to build a standard democratic coalition. Cruz is very polarizing in his views and they won't be for everyone. He could pick off border states and compete in California with its large Hispanic population. He is not a middle of the road candidate and doesn't seem to be able to moderate his views to get there. She will win against Carson. Initially, I thought he could peel away some of the black vote, but the more he speaks, the more we realize the depths of his understanding, or lack thereof, of just about everything except medicine. He won't make it out of the first six primaries. She will win against Christie. However, he could make things interesting if he could pick off safe NJ and weaken her numbers in NYC. Making here compete for NY would distract resources she would need in other places like Virginia. Christie has always been my choice, but his pettiness in handling local politics has doomed him. She will win against Paul. He might just be the most technically competent candidate but he can't break free of those in front of him. He may be Donald Trump's biggest victim in this race. He is pretty polarizing in his views as well. He would need to soften his image and move more to the center. She will win against Bush. He increasingly looks like a candidate trying to throw a hail Mary. He ran a poor campaign from the start and let his message get lost in the din of Carson, Cruz and Trump. He will be gone after NH. So.. with Christie out and Rubio unlikely to emerge, I am left with Cruz or Trump versus HRC and I can't and won't cast a vote for Cruz or Trump. What's a GOPer to do?
  13. This place is quiet. So a bit of a two-prong rant. IR stashing. I can't count the times this season I have seen a player sit on IR multiple days to a week after he is no longer listed as such. It is disingenuous and poor sportsmanship to leave a player more than one day on IR after he is cleared to played, I give the one day allowance as it might be that you miss the day for whatever reason. Yahoo poorly handles the re-integration of said IR player. The way the system should work is you drop a player from the active roster (which it does do) and then immediately move the IR player into that slot (which it doesn't do). You have to wait 24 hours to actually complete that move. If you try it before 24 hours, it gives you a roster over limit warning, which is wrong and dumb.
  14. The other mitigating factor was the location on the ice. One was just outside the paint, the other well up ice.
  15. Saw the movie today. What a remarkably unimaginative movie. The same plot lines from two previous movies??? They spent all that money, they certainly could have come up with an original script and plot.
  16. Sabres losing guarantees a Bills win this weekend. One Buffalo as in One Win Buffalo
  17. So Moulson got 10m of ice time in a game that went through OT.
  18. blah
  19. That was an INCOMPETENT 4 on 3
  20. Karma time
  21. So Franson costs the Sabres a goal and a penalty
  22. Holy smokes.. that's crazy
  23. Buckle up for a ferocious finish
  24. yeah baby
