  1. It is in my top 5: 1. All in the Family 2. Barney Miller 3. Night Court 4. Seinfeld 5. Cheers and honorable mention 6. Soap
  2. Especially since they routinely take off the first period.
  3. Obama crushed Hillary 55-26 in 2008, so it will be interesting to see how Sanders does there.. And you just know, Bill Clinton will be all over SC stumping for her. Sander's climb is steep.
  4. The prevailing thinking is he is a white vote guy. So he will do well in Iowa and NH where the voters are predominantly white and will lose traction in the south where Super Tuesday looms and minorities make up larger portions of the electorate. Last week he was ahead in Iowa, this week, not so much. And he committed political suicide last night in the debate by saying he would certainly raise taxes. His rebuttal that his health care savings would make up for it, was lost. Now the other candidates have his sound bite sure to be coming to a commercial near you. If he could win SC, I would change my opinion.
  5. I voted Bogo,, For the price, he should be better. He is sporting a team worst -17
  6. I'm really struggling to care at all about the Sabres this year. I had such a high level of enthusiasm for the team in September. The new parts for the most part are only incrementally better than what was iced last year, yet on paper should be more than incrementally better. Their play is largely uninspiring. I didn't even care they played last night. I need the All Star break to recharge,
  7. The analysis I read somewhere last week suggested he would draw off votes from Hiliary
  8. All in fun
  9. Bloomberg would have the "Perot" effect on the election. ... and ... He is too late in the game to get an organization up and running. He has missed ballot deadlines in states already.
  10. Perfect.. Just what a Bills fan wanted. A gut wrenching loss by the Patriots in a game that Brady got battered
  11. Um Phil, he did not deliberately throw that away. He flat out missed that receiver. What a freakin Brady apologist
  12. Was Brady dinged on that last INT?
  13. Most of it is hitting mid-Atlantic. It is pretty impressive here. We are now getting the back side of the low and it is whipping snow around here. I'm guessing we will be between 24-36" snowfall and significant drifting in places. Should be fun watching this place dig out. We are not prepared for this amount of snow. Schools could be out a week here.
  14. It makes me incredibly happy that this only happens every few years here. As much as I love Buffalo, I don't care for the snow and the problems it creates. If it is to snow here, I prefer it to come all in one storm. I feel like a shoveled my life time quota of snow growing up, for my parents (involuntary) and for my customers (for cash). This one will shut down Baltimore and DC for a good week. It's fun. Kids are having a ball. We are well provisioned. I'm more upset that my fantasy teams are getting decimated with the postponements.
  15. This storm is the real deal... It is no Blizzard of '77, but this storm will stop commerce on the East Coast for a good week. It is in full throttle now. The winds are whipping 40-50MPH now and it is truly a winter wonderland. Pretty.. Shoveled out my drive way, 30m later, is has blown back in. Great exercise, So far, the power has stayed on. Fingers crossed.
  16. Shepard Dachshund mix.. I call her a Shetland Sheppard. Face of a Sheppard, body more like a Dachshund. Snow is 1.5 feet over her head now.
  17. Dog woke me up this morning to let her out. Opened the door to a wall of snow, darkness and a raging blizzard. Dog looks at me and says "and....". Get shovel out. No coat, sneakers no socks, no gloves and carve her a 20 ft path to the grass. Fall in snow on my way back in. She takes one look at what I have done and me covered in snow and heads back up stairs to go to bed, Edit: To the bolded. Shows you can take the man out of Buffalo, but you can't take the Buffalo out of the man..
  18. Apparently I live in the bullseye for this storm. If it is going to snow, I prefer to get it all in one storm. Bring it on,
  19. I've been saying all along that if the average government worker did what Hilliary did, they would be hiring a lawyer.
  20. But with oil going even lower, oil producing states are going to continue to hemorrhage jobs. I admire your allegiance to him. It won't matter a wit in October what he did in his first term if the market continues to crash. Serious question, if the market goes down to say 14000 by November's vote and your 401 drops, say 25%, how will you feel then?
  21. Hates numbers .. and I mean hates them..
  22. Your $1.99 gas is causing extreme repercussions in the US economy. The stock market is down pretty consistently since last October. 1 trillion has been wiped out since Jan 1 and much of that is coming from 401Ks. Trouble is a brewing. The more it crashes, the more likely the economy will surface as the number 1 election issue. ****************** Heard today on Sunday morning talk show: "Trumpism -- a reaction against the changes going on in the society"
  23. Gronkowski is an incredible talent. You know they are going to throw it to him and you still can't stop it.
  24. I will take a momentary break from hating the Patriots to say this: You have to admire how consistently good the Patriots are. They just don't make mistakes. Brady continues to demonstrate that he is the greatest QB of all time and the distance to second place is continuously widening. Now I will go back to hating the Patriots
