Anybody catch FTN yesterday when they asked Bill de Blasio (current NYC Mayor and Clinton supporter) if he was feeling the heat from accusations that he siphoned money from his non profit to fund his campaign? Weren't we just talking upthread about nonprofits and their less than stellar management records?

I think he should have had a prepared answer for that. It's not like this issue hasn't been discussed on the campaign trail already. Perhaps he took it as a slam to his legacy. I'm not sure I give him a pass for not knowing what the outcome would be. He had the entire government team of lawyers at his disposal and the Justice Department. The fact that many of the Congressional Black Caucus voted for it should also be discussed. Seems like Al Sharpton understood the implications. He was a very vocal opponent of the bill.

So all you got is Bernie voted for it too? I don't care, Bernie was not President and Bernie was not married to the President. I'll give you credit for being loyal to the Clintons. Bernie would not be my first choice, but I think if I have to pick from what the Dems are offering, he is better than Hillary.

Bernie wins and then loses. Sad the Democratic Party elite can't see past the Clintons. Love to listen to the Clintons (He and She) back pedal on the Crime Bill and love the fact that the African American community who was significantly and irreparably harmed by that is giving them a pass. If the Democrats would give me an alternative to the Clintons, I would vote Democratic this year. I can't in good conscience put them in the White House... Anybody but the Clintons and this would be a slam dunk for me.

This wasn't a Bernie Hail Mary, but it was a definite slam on the Clintons. Just about every big charity has money issues. Don't fool yourselves into believing that the Clintons or Bushes are altruistic. I expect Trump and others to be on the 'American' list when it rolls out. But my real intention for posting the comment was I suspect it was anti-Clinton PAC forces that got the stuff leaked in the first place. I too wonder where the American names are. We own the lion share of billionaires. They have to be sheltering their money from Uncle Sam somewhere.

I'm waiting for the shoe to drop on the Clinton Foundation. You just know it has to be in there ...
